Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend 2026

The post on IG had some more video of the merch. I like the blue pullover the guy is wearing. I may have to grab that if any are left by the time I get there.

We don’t arrive til Friday afternoon so I’m telling myself everything will be gone. And if it’s not then it will be a pleasant surprise!

I love that purple on the Dumbo shirt!

Me, too! And the purple Dumbo jacket! Purple is my favorite color so I'm thrilled it's being used for the Dumbo merch. I'll be there for the first day of the expo, and after missing out on the purple PW hoodie this year, I'm really hoping I'll get the jacket.

I got my wife into the half! Does anyone have any recommendations on where she should stay? I saw the Best Western Plus Pavilions had good reviews. Is that a good spot for her or is there somewhere better? On a budget, so not looking to stay 'on site', just a close walking distance.

We're booked at the Clementine. As someone mentioned, it's close to the start/finish and has nice, big rooms. This year's race we stayed at the Desert Palms Hotel & Suites. It's a further walk to the parks and start/finish, but if on a budget, it's nice enough and the walks are still doable.

Sorry, half map coming through a bit fuzzy. Anyway…

No changes to 5k/10k from September, half course exits DL about a half mile earlier but a lot of that is taken out from backstage i think. Of course that also means less opportunity for photo ops. City portion is different but can’t comment on the road we’ll be on, so it’s off to google maps to find out.

Just got a jury summons in the mail that says to call in/check in on January 21st. Fingers crossed it gets dismissed before I even have to report. If I have to go in, I may wear a tin foil hat and talk to invisible people while I am there during jury selection.

I was summoned one time and brought essays to grade while they called up groups to question. When my group was called, I stuck the red pen behind my ear, and when I was questioned by the DA about my profession and answered “high school English teacher,” he asked if I would be grading him on his grammar if I were chosen. After I said, “Probably!” he said, “Your honor I move to dismiss this juror.” Tin foil hat or high school teacher, both scream CRAZY!

When I did the registration for jury duty, they actually had an option to defer at a later date. So I think I just kicked the can down the road until May.

Has anyone had their registration disappear on their account before? When I signed my family up for the race weekend, I accidentally typed my name instead of my husband's on one of the registrations. I was able to email runDisney and have them correct the problem. They essentially "moved" his registration to his account, but he wasn't able to sign the waiver. He went to try again this weekend and the race information wasn't there at all nor is it on my account.
We emailed runDisney again and when they tried to resolve the issue, they just had me verify my registration and account.
Just curious if anybody has had this happen before and/or how easy it was to get it fixed.


In other news, my kids just finished their last long training run and discovered the importance of a "dress rehearsal" for their outfits. Both needed a thing or two tweaked, but they were excited to be so close to the big day.

Hasn’t happened to me but my understanding is that they have a lot of issues with shared signups and if it comes down to it they can fix at the expo.
