Mexico's San Angel Inn=inedible. We literally left the food on our plates and had to go somewhere else to eat.

I second this one! Taco Bell is even better then San Angel Inn!!

San Angel. I ordered some sort of shrimp and it smelled just like a pier. YUK!
BUT, the outdoor mexican place was just wonderfull. :wizard:

The Cantina (counter service) in Mexico. Six of us and no one had anything remotely acceptable. Ice cold, congealing, totally devoid of flavor. Their idea of salsa is thin ketchup.

Nine Dragon's. It was so awful that I refused to eat it. Had the entree removed from the bill and left (my ex-husband ate his, but then again he enjoys things like pork rinds and beef jerky so obviously he's not into fine dining). Plus BIRDS kept flying into the restaurant!

I would have to say Marakesh was pretty bad. I don't think iw ould try that again.

As for Counter Service it would have to be China - almost everyone in our party had to go find something else to eat. We weren't able to eat any of it. maybe we are just too used to the "americanized chinese food"

Worst at Epcot? That's a tough one. My DH had some crappy food from the San Angel Cafe, but mine was fine. I don't know what was up with his, it was gross.

We aren't huge fans of Rose & Crown, it wasn't exciting. The food choices were kinda blah.

Hands down---San Angel was the WORST. Horrible service and blah food. I can't believe it is still in operation!

San Angel Inn, by a landslide, one of the few places I'll NEVER NEVER NEVER return to!

Not only worst in Epcot, worst in the whole World - Garden Grille! Inedible, greasy, slimy skillet chicken - blech! And the place wasn't cheap either. Never again.

My hands down winner is the French restaurant. We ate there years ago after reading rave reviews in the Unofficial Guide, and thought "gee, we've just spend $60 on Alpo dog food". Yuk! I think we ordered the beef something or other. Ugg, I am cringing at the memory.
My second runner up is Alfredo's. We ate there last year for lunch and I think we got sick. I remember someone almost tossing cookies as we took the launch back from the Italy pavillion. Bad, bad food.

Wow, I'm surprised Alfredo's made the list of so many disers. We ate there in June and had the BEST service and really good food. Our waiters name was Alberto and he was the nicest man! He told us about the food and what his life was like in Italy. The food...yum! My family will definitely go back to this one!

As for our worst...Coral Reef. Not bad food, just *way* too pricey for the taste/amount. The atmosphere is nice but you aren't guaranteed a view by the tank so don't go there for the fish. Still, our waitress was wonderful! So our experience wasn't all bad. :)

Marikesh. Limited menu and just plain plain plain. Nothing really wrong but nothing really right either.

I was very disappointed in Alfredo's. Service was rude and rarely around checking to see if we needed anything. Also, Coral Reef is definitely not worth it. Being from the coast, I can have good seafood all the time, but thought this restaurant would be fun because of the huge aquarium. Atmosphere was nice, but food was awful.

Whew - three -- count 'em, three -- pages of flaming posts on horrific dining, but not once was our choice for a World Showcase restaurant (Biergarten in Germany) mentioned.

So our AR for lunch there in a few weeks has passed the acid test!!! :wave2:

I also had lunch at Alfredo's and was sick the entire night!! Tasted good going down, but I payed for it all night.

AKERSHUS for lunch..............just don't do it!

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :sad2: It was 5 years ago..but I would have to say San Angel Inn in Mexico.
Atmosphere was great but food..not so good

Nine Dragons. Not impressed with this place at all. I live in New York and have really good Chinese food here, this place didn't even come close - to any of the cheap take-outs.
