Worst household chore

Washing Hardwood floors...And actually making them look good. (which BTW, all it takes is vinegar and water)

Scrubbing the tub/shower. We have hard water (our softener is so old, just doesn't do the job anymore so we are planning to get a new one after the holidays) and the tub/showers get dirty fast. I just hate scrubbing them.

Second least favorite would be dusting. Sometimes I just dust the main tables and the TV area and don't bother with some of the shelves every single time. I think I have too much "stuff" and I get tired of having to take it all off the tables/shelves, dust, and then put everything back.

the dusting is easy, open one door (back?) and get an electric leaf blower and an extension cord........:woohoo:

I hate cleaning glass... no matter what I do I always miss something.

This reminded me, my kids used to shoot their nerf guns at the window in the back door. It would leave little suction cup marks all over the glass, kinda looked like our door was attacked by an octopus. No point, just felt like sharing.

come on...we all know it was a suction cup glass holder that you would put your margrita in while you watched the kids play outside!!:cool1:

While technically, it is not a household chore, I hate going to the grocery store at any time, day or night. As a matter of fact, the hate is right up there with that yearly visit to the OB/GYN...

I would rather be the puke cleaner, toilet cleaner, doggie doo picker-upper any day of the week.

The only way I make it through the grocery store is with a drink and my ipod blaring in my ears...

I have really hard water too and picked up this trick from my mom. In an empty spray bottle, put 1 part Dawn to 4 parts vinegar. Shake well, spray on all parts of shower after you get out of the shower (might turn on the fan for this, it will smell like vinegar for a few minutes!) I just let it dry and then when I get home from work, wipe down with a wet cloth, then dry with a clean microfiber cloth. No residue, no harsh chemicals, no hard water stains, no scrubbing!!! Takes maybe 2 or 3 minutes, max. I do this usually twice a week and my shower/tub is sparkling clean.

and my least favorite task is dusting!!!! I live across the road from a grain elevator and it's awful the amount of dust I have, it's a never ending task...
