World's Best ACTOR

Inspired by my Pacino/Deniro thread. Who is the best actor (must be a male), in the world, in your opinion. Don't worry, I'll make a separate post for the ladies.

My vote is for Gary Oldman. Just love him!

After seeing Denzel Washington in Glory, John Q, Malcom X, The Preacher's Wife, Remember the Titans, and a few more, he's definitely the world's best actor in my book. VERY versitile and realistic! He'a a guy who can play any role without making you remember him as his past characters.

I don't know about the "best" but my favorite is probably John Travolta (starting with Welcome Back, Kotter) . I also love Robert Duvall.

I absloutely gained a TON of admiration for him as an actor in Mystic River. I haven't seen enough of his movies, though, to have a more complete opinion.

I don't care for a lot of Johnny Depp's movies - a little bit odd for my taste - but he has such a great range of characters that he can play and he plays them well.
