World's Best ACTOR

Geoffrey Rush is also a great actor. His performance in Quills was amazing. And, no offense to Jack Sparrow/Johnny Depp, I thought Barbossa was the best pirate portrayal I've ever seen.

I was thinking of John Wayne, but has he ever played any role other than a tough guy? He seems to be predictable in his roles, although he has done a great job. I guess I'm looking for a good John Wayne movie to watch!
