We love Epcot! Mainly the big fountain and Soarin and Spaceship Earth and all of the SPACE so you don't feel crowded. It always feels a little cooler there :)
We are staying at an Epcot resort and I would like to find out what there really is to do in the countries...? We love the American Adventure, and the boat ride in Mexico. Last trip we bought candy in many countries...have never seen the Canada movie....any good?
We really don't buy souvenirs so the shops don't interest us much...Traveling with 12/13 year old boy/girls...Looking forward to hearing about what we are missing out on....Thanks!

Well I enjoy the shopping :p But seriously, my boys have always loved EPCOT and have even continued to enjoy WS now, at ages 9 & almost 13. Not so much the movies but they like alot of the entertainment - sadly some of which is gone :sad2:. But the acrobats in China are fun, Sergio in France, the new flag twirlers in Italy were somewhat interesting and they like seeing the glassblower in Mexico. And there are movies in China and I believe France also. Even though they don't buy anything anymore (used to be into Pokemon) they still enjoy looking around the big store in Japan. Older DS liked exploring the exhibit in China last year as he had studied China in school.
Depending on their personalities they may still be interested in buying a passport and having the CM's in each country sign it. Yes it's a souvenir, but it's cool :thumbsup2 Better than coloring a Duffy Bear lol. The CM from each country will write something in their native language. Older DS did it when he was 11 so I didn't suggest it again last year at 12. And then there are all the characters which may not interest any of them, may still interest the girls, may interest them all!

You know we've been to Epcot at least 4 times and we've never seen any entertainment other than the amazing singers in the AA? And no, kids never been interested in Passports, but thanks.

The movie in Canada was pretty awesome. We also like exploring the shop in Japan. I know you said the shops don't interest you but this one is HUGE and pretty unique. Lots of video game stuff if anyone is into that. Also in the Japan shop is the Pick-a-Pearl experience which is very cool. The Agent P's World Showcase Adventure was really neat. Your kids might feel a little old for it but I did it with my nephew and *I* thought it was really cool and fun! The entertainment in each country is great too - the drums in Japan, the juggler in Italy, the balancing act in France, Voices of Liberty in American was extremely cool, the British band in the UK, acrobats in China etc. You can find what times these groups perform in the Times Guide. Also can YouTube to see some of these things - they are very neat. The kids can get a passport and get it stamped in each country they visit. There's lots of good snacks throughout World Showcase as well (Kaki Gori, shaved ice, in Japan might be a hit with the kids).

I love World Showcase and there's really so much to do!
