I always find it so amusing how they have become so accustomed to IllumiNations that they just swim around right in the middle of it as if nothing is happening!lol
And talk about Front Row "Seats"-they have them every night!
I know-it always amazes me, too. We're bird watchers so we're used to watching the behavior of birds. What's especially funny is that an animal keeper at AK told me once that some of those ducks just "showed up" there, weren't planted by Disney. One especially was unusual, it was a European duck, later transferred to AKV when they realized it, but meanwhile he just swam cal my around during Illuminations.

My husband has said that if there is life after death, he wants to be a Disney World duck.
I need to find the photo but once at Epcot, we were walking just at the entrance to World Showcase near the Promenade Refreshments kiosk and there was a mamma duck and her eight babies just sleeping in the afternoon. They were protected by a fence but anyone could have jumped over it but the ducks didn't care. A few days later, same family sleeping a bit closer together but comfortable.
Disney World is a nature preserve and that's why I caution kids on chasing ducks, bunnies, and any other kind of wildlife while there.
