World Showcase---characters AND snacking around the world?

We always snack around WS. It's a tradition. We pick one food from each country and share it. This trip, we'd also like to meet some new characters.

We want to see:
Mary Poppins 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00
Aladdin 11:45, 12:45, 1:45, 2:45, 4:35, 5:35
Mulan 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:50, 4:50

Should we start by going directly to UK for Mary Poppins at her first time of 11:00, follow that with Aladdin and Mulan and then double back to hit every country? Or should we just enjoy each country as it comes? I'm afraid we'll end up wasting time because we have to wait for the next Meet and Greet.

It's the same story if you want to see some of the bands and entertainers in World Showcase. Sometimes you have to slow down or pick it up a little if you want to catch the next one without backtracking.
I always carry the Times Guide that you pick up at the entrance for any updates in times.

Not sure when you are going, however we were there last week, and lines for characters seemed to start in advance. Mulan was our first, and she came about 11:10 since the Showcase opens at 11:00. She had a line before she came. In most cases, lines were closed off by cast members fairly quickly as well. In some cases it took a few tries to get the right place in line to actually meet them. We did meet Mary, but lined up about 20 minutes before her scheduled time. Good luck!

If it were me I'd probably start with Mary Poppins and just make my way around the world....paying attention to times to make it to each character. I'm totally crazy, so would probably make a tentative schedule
