Last week it was announced that Cracker Jack Stadium at WDW will host the first round of one of the divisions of the World Baseball Classic in March. I can't find any information about tickets, even at the WBC website. I thought one of the wise folk on this board might know something.

Anyone??

Thanks!

Try over on allearsnet.com. I think if you go over to the area marked something like "Beyond the Theme Parks" you might find info on this. I know they do show WWOS along with the activites available and the hours.
ps.....the only Disney transportation to the Sports complex is from the Disney Studios.....

Ticket information has not yet been released. I would keep checking back to the WBC website. Not sure why that information isn't up yet. I would have thought they would have wanted to start ticket sales well in advance of Christmas ... but no indication of when tickets will go on sale.

I too am surprised there's no information. Makes me wonder about the whole event. If we go to WDW the first week of March we'll hit ESPN weekend, the WBC, spring training, AND WDW!! My 10 yr old son will be in heaven (dh and I too.)

Thanks, I noticed they finally went on sale. It turns out you have to buy the tickets in strips! We don't want to go to all 6 games (not interested in seeing Austrailia play Italy), so we're going to wait and try to buy from a ticket broker.

Thanks for all your info.

I know, that really bummed me out! I don't want to see 6 games, I just wanted to see one. I was hoping to see the Dominican vs. Italy and surprise my dad w/the tickets, but I think that I may just get him Braves Spring Training tickets instead.

its a shame the government won't allow Cuba to play...

Who would have thought that Cuba would say "yes" and the U.S. wouldn'
t allow them to enter. Very disappointing.
