I'm curious. Assume you work for a company that has to staff weekends. Say one shift morning and one shift evening. You will be regularly scheduled to work weekends. Would you prefer working:

Saturday & Sunday (two days off during the week)
Tuesday - Saturday (off Monday & Tuesday)
Sunday - Thursday (off Friday & Saturday)

The answer is probably "it depends", based on external factors (2nd jobs, family, etc). But I'm intentionally not including an "other".

None of the above! I don't do weekends.

IF I was desperate and had to work, I suppose it would be Sunday - Thursday.

The majority of my friends work M-F. I picked being off Friday and Saturday to closely align with my friends days off and typical days we go out.

I spent 20 years working shift work. Mon-Sun and all the holidays. I had 3 Christmases off during that time. Your weekends were whatever two days off you had.
EDIT: I guess I should add it was 3 shifts that rotated, 7am-3pm/3pm-11pm/11pm-7am

If I had to work weekends I would do Sun-Thurs.

I suppose if I absolutely had to I would prefer to work Sun-Thur

Since none isn't an option I'd rather have F-Sa off and work Su-Th. I'd miss less stuff that way.

I'm at the point where Saturday work outside of emergencies and occasional projects would be a deal breaker for me but at the beginning of my career I generally worked 1 or 2 Saturday a month. I always hated it.

I already work any day of the week. If I get a day off, I’d prefer it be a school day so I can let Calgon take me away while DS is in school. (Or I can get other chores done.)

I work Sunday through Thursday now - I don't really mind it. We need coverage every day, so we have some Mon-Fri, some Sun-Thurs, and some Tues-Sat people.

Somehow I only managed to be regularly scheduled to work weekends for about a year and a half in my 42 year career. Not a fan. Especially since the Saturday shift was 3 pm to 11:30 pm and the Sunday had short turnaround, 9 am to 6 pm. My last employer had some weekend folks working both Saturday and Sunday, some had one or the other off. The norm at my previous two employers was weekend people all worked Wednesday through Sunday.

A long time ago I worked sun to every other Wednesday 6a-6p. My dh was doing m-f at that time. It was exhausting. I had to go to bed early on Saturday nights so we really couldn’t do a night on the town on Saturday night. I did like the 4 day weekends every other weekend so that was nice.

Before our company shut down, my workweek was Saturday through Tuesday, with Wednesday through Friday off (four 10-hour days). I am going to miss that schedule when I get a new job. It was great for getting things done, like appointments, without having to use PTO. The only drawback was that although the company had nine paid holidays, we didn’t get the holidays off unless they fell on our regular day off. We did get the pay for it in addition to pay for the hours worked on the holiday.
