Good morning ladies. It's the official last day of the challenge. I think I did really good this week, but we'll see what the scale says tomorrow!
Jeanne: Good gracious. Disney, 2 cruises, Disney and then, a race! I would be dead for that race. First off, I'd be a sunburned mess and chafing like crazy, but then, yes, the drink of the day would do me in on the hydration front!
More power to you!
Beth: Uh oh!
Please, please, please tell me you aren't running anymore until you've healed from your surgery? I'm sorry you are hurting so bad. I would lecture you, but I probably would have done it too! Just take it easy for the next month, okay?
AFM: Harrison told me in the car on the way to school that he thinks he could do a half!
Gotta love this kid! He did, afterall, do almost half of one already. I thought you had to be 13 to run one, but now, I'm finding that the rules are different for each. I'll see how serious he really is, and who knows? There is a kind of local one happening the day before his bday in November, so????
I can't believe it's already May. It's been so chilly that it hasn't seemed like spring at all around here. But, it's good running weather. I went out for 4 miles today and felt great. I'm going to zumba tonight, and, I think, leading my first dance routine. I have a really easy one, and, if the instructor likes it, she'll let me show it to the class and lead it the first time! I'm scared!!!! She also is going back to college, and, over the summer will be going to night school. So, I may take over one night of her classes. I'm just looking at it as free zumba!
She really wants me to get certified, so I can officially do it, but I don't have the time or want.
Well, ladies, have a great Monday. Hope to hear from you all tomorrow!

And what would a vacation be like without a few indulgences here and there... Enjoy for all of us!!

But I am having fun shopping for kitchen gadgets. I picked up a really nice chef's knife that I've been wanting for a while. It's amazing what a difference a good knife makes!!
I missed the exercise challenge, weight loss, both new food/recipe points, and only got .5 each for the veggies and dairy. I did get a full point for my water this week, which is a first for me!

Yikes! And a big thanks for organizing the challenge!
Maybe they'll open up some additional spots or you could buy someone's entry/bib?
I'm trying to really watch the calories today, so I have some extra.
I thought maybe it was my sister but it turns out my mom made herself a cheesecake for Mother's Day (where's the loser smiley?). I told her that's like making yourself a cake on your birthday. I told her she'd better not go around telling everyone that we didn't do anything for Mother's Day - she sometimes does that for attention.
Anyway, I'm thinking of freezing mine (can cheesecake be frozen and still okay after it thaws?) so that I won't be tempted to eat any.
I hope Harrison does eventually find his way to a Half -- he has plenty of time!
, Missy! Oh, and a note for you and Vicky -- I read online that "The Revolution" the Tim Gunn lifestyle show that is replacing AMC & OLTL (along with "The Chew", another food show), did not test well at all, and affiliates are complaining and saying they don't want them. Supposedly, Sony is interested in buying them and airing them on NBC. I think that might be wishful thinking, though...be sure and catch OLTL this week if you're interested -- Roger Howarth's first air date back is May 13th.
Have you read the new Kingdom Keepers yet? I have it on the table, and just can't get motivated to start it. DD just finished it, and wasn't impressed.
