Hello friends,
I"M BACK......with a vengence! I just realized the first of our 2 weddings is less than 4 months away and momma wants to look good at the Big Fat Greek Wedding. I saw my doctor yesterday and finally got the clearance to basically do whatever I want so I really need to get cracking.
Sorry I've been away so long. I had to deal with alot of issues regarding the closing of my husband's business and his relocation to another state. I think things are starting to settle down. Then there was my little surgical "speedbump"......I am happy to report that I am nearly fully healed and most of my complications have been resolved. Three weeks ago, the doctor did a little mini-procedure in his office and things really began to improve quickly afterward. (Beth, you'll be pleased to know that that Nancy knew exactly what needed to be done and called it first.)
I very quickly read over the last 10 or so pages of posts......I can't personally comment to everyone, but just had to give a shout-out to the following:
Maria: so sorry I didn't get to spend any time with you, but I did see you looking good during the half.
Connie: sorry it didn't turn out well for you but the most important thing is to listen to your body. It sounds like not all was in vain though because you garnered so much valuable information from your training.
Cindy: sorry I didn't get to meet you at the POP gathering. Congrats on an awesome 2 races....even more impressive because of your stomach issues.
Jackie and Bill, Debra and DOOD: congrats on your Goofy achievements. Somehow I think I already congratulated you guys, but probably not on this thread.
To everyone else I missed:

And is that an alternate reality in the flashes (or I guess everything is in Lost). Loved Terry O'Quinn! He did an amazing job as always!

m I am so glad to see you back here! I kind of stopped dropping weight last month, just a lb here or there. Now you are back we can forge down the scale together.
(JK, don't worry about me. I watch and rewatch, and head scratch.)

) I do think you would have terrific response to P90X. It might help to get a 'new' workout for you! I do know what you mean with cost.....that's why I didn't get it before! I am really lucky I found someone who has it! If you can find it on ebay, or craigslist, it is well worth it! I do like Tony Horton's attitude with "do your best, forget the rest". I found that I could do more yesterday.....it was the second day I did chest/shoulders. I could do more push-ups, and even did some 'real' ones! Most of those are on my knees. I hold my form better on my knees, and can get more done. I pushed myself a little more. I did get a pull-up bar for over my door frame, and it made a big difference. The first time I used the band instead. The bar worked better, but I did use a chair for assisted pull-ups. I do plan on being able to do some unassisted eventually.....one of my goals!

Glad you got in the 4 miles this morning! I think morning workouts are always tougher when its your TOM...
