Good morning Lean Ladies!
Maria - You are a busy, busy person. I would get lost in that kind of schedule, although; there was a time... - Rest days are good! Congrats on the new hoisery! There is just something special about moving down in hoisery sizes. I mean, who knew, that Queen would become a size and a dispicable one at that!!! I bet you are too young to remember the TV show, "Queen for a day". -- Crawling with Tweens really does sound like an infestation!
Beth - GREAT JOB on that 3 pounds!! Best pizza choice would be a very thin crust with a ton of veggies! Does it make you wander if it's all in your head? I often think that about me! You know like get your mind to KNOW that weight loss WILL happen and then ...it does! -- I think that you have it right. It is more difficult to learn to eat to maintain than it is to eat for loss. It is one of my greatest challenges!
Jackie - Good job on getting that run in! Sometimes our hardest battles take place between our ears. (See reference above to weight loss and it's all in our heads!) I hear shin splints are bad. Hope they get better soon!
Manda - Those meetings are so hard on a person. I used to dread them and hate them and wish I could go home to avoid them and ... So, I just don't take meetings any more. Which is why I didn't get to meet most of you at WDW...I was hiding!
Cindy - If things don't improve with your tummy you may have to insist on tests or find get a second opinion. This isn't good!
Debra -
Texas is a big, big state. I can be in: Walsenburg, CO; Albuquerque, NM: somewhere in Nebraska; or Little Rock, AR in about the same amount of time I can get to Dallas! Weird, huh? But long drives don't bother me. I rather enjoy them, in fact. And it's a good thing, too! I have to drive about 45 miles to walk into a Walmart!
No nude workouts here, either! But with some advance planning, I could make something work in 2011
Vicky - The trick with needles...don't look! Turn your head and keep it turned. Start humming a song that you love to yourself as soon as the band goes on your arm! If you get a flebotomist who isn't good, ask for a new one BEFORE you pass out!
-- I had a chiropractor and a physician who once told me (separate times of course) that exercise wasn't good for you. I fired them!! There are doctors who understand exercise phisiology and the athlete.
AFM - The scale is still trending downwards.
That hasn't happened in 2 years, minimum! I am pleased. It's sleeting and snowing and blowing here. Some days it just doesn't pay to come out of those jammies!
See ya! Connie

I'm gonna slowly work back up to LRs, and this kind of post is inspiring (if also a bit guilt-inducing
Then I try to incorporate them slowly and permanently.
Such a different life! What wonderful news on your weight loss, especially to see the results come so quickly after such a long period of time. I'm sure this is a sign that good health news is yours for 2010. And after 2009, whew!

I sometimes wonder if there's anyone who can fit in all their workouts and training perfectly. Which half are you running?
I guess I have my mind on food this afternoon! (In case anyone is wondering, Tim Horton's is a popular donut/coffee shop in Canada). Those workouts must be a killer if a 4 miler is a breeze! Good job!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CONNIE!

Oh well, new month, new week, new effort!
. My SIL was catching a plane for FL, so we didn't see her. I now own my first down coat, and I love how light and warm it is! It was a very pleasant outing, and I know we'll be back when it warms up. It's going to be a great place to take company who want to get out a bit. Good luck with the nutritionist, I think you are going to be very glad you have that appointment!
to Manda, Cindy, Jackie!
Even with vaguely evil SIL (what does that constitute exactly, an evil laugh but no supertights?) always potentially in the picture, that sounds like a good thing.
When the weather is that cold out, do you wear headgear or a scarf that covers your face. That's one of the things I dislike the most about the cold weather--having to cover my nose/mouth and my face getting all moist from my breath. Yick!
And I'm feeling a little tired, but not horribly so. What I have noticed, though, is that I'm tending to default to the same-old, same-old rut. And I've done nothing to find that new, non-training activity yet. So that's a mini-goal for February. Gotta keep challenging myself mentally, or physically I just won't work as hard. The problem is, as it is for so many of us, balancing out all the WOs and training with the rest of my life. It's just so
Actually I took a picture of myself before I left for my run on Saturday and meant to post it. I'm wearing so much stuff it looks silly!
