WOOT!!! I got a Pin Code!!! Now, can I pull off a trip in 2 weeks??

I got a Pin in the mail for a $500 gift card at check in. Rooms are available, I can live with the price, and I actually already have the time scheduled off from work. I'm just such a planning geek and I only have 16 days left til we leave At this point I don't even know crowd levels, best park days, what am I gonna pack, does it even still fit, what am I going to do with the animals, etc, etc etc. Oh mercy, I've got some work to do.

I wasn't even going to bother with trying to make dining ressies this late in the game. I bought the quick service plan instead. If I really feel the need for a sit-down type meal, I'll head off property. But I think this plan will work fine.

I do feel really lucky that I snagged a room at POFQ. I was going for a Value, but they were all booked up. In retrospect, I was glad because I have been wanting to check this resort out. There seemed to be lots of availability at AKL(my favorite). I could have had a room in any category, but with the way the economy is going I just didn't want to part with that much money on this trip.

The only thing I have accomplished so far is to line up a pet sitter to come in and take care of the animals while we're gone.

Tour Guide Mike has not responded yet with a renewal code, and I couldn't get the UG site to work last night. So I'm still spinning my wheels here trying to come up with any concrete plans. BUt it will all come together sooner or later. And I'm leaving in 15 days regardless of how well planned I feel.

I just booked a spur of the moment trip last sunday and asked if I had a pin code to my name. The CM said yes..but there was nothing available to use it.

Regular mail. I had just recently requested and received a planning DVD, so I don't know if that triggered it or not. I remember getting a pin last year after I booked a trip and then cancelled it. But I couldn't go then discount or not.
