Make the call, and added two nights at POP to the end of our WL stay. That makes it 9D/8N. Completely stoked !!! 
Some interesting items of note:
-- Tried to get a room at CBR. Nothing available...even at rack rate ! CRO said it is becase the two days I'm adding are weekend says (Sat-Sun). He even checked all the other moderates, and nothing came up.
-- Added an 8th day to our premium tickets. The total for the four of us was a shocking $12.76
We get an extra park day for $3.19 each. Too cool ! Even if we spent just 1 hour there, it'll be worth it !!
-- Made no specific requests at POP. We'll just play it by ear when we check in. We'll likely get there earlier in the day, so maybe we'll get lucky. These are our relaxing 2 days, so no big deal. Let others who may be in the core part of their vacation get the primo rooms. We're totally alright with that.
