I just want to get my Xmas display started I have the Mickey head frame ready, all I need to do is cable tie lights to it then clear the decks ready for everything else - I even have a festive Freshmatic "Vanilla and Festive Spice" fragrance

I was going to choose the mulled wine fragrance as well But I went for the other fragrance instead, I had the mulled wine last year (the air freshener that is!)

Anyone know where I can get knitted Christmas stockings from? Either to buy in the shops or on-line. If not, then I'd better start getting creative!

I'm going to hopefully get the stockings and then fill them nicely with little gifts for my brother and my boyfriend...thought I'd go back to being a little more traditional....alongside their bigger presents, of course!

I started putting the decs up today!!!

I have just hoovered & dusted the lounge and have now put a couple of ornaments out as I am sorting through it all. Hubby just helped me put our tree up and put the lights on it!

So far so good with Bailey she has been sniffing it but soon got bored! Stamford just laid on his bed watching.

I am not going to put my baubles on it for a day or two though as I want to make sure they are going to leave it alone. Will post some pics as and when I finish.

I love 'em, especially later in Jan when I can still smell it and it reminds me of christmas.....really cheers me up in the late Jan/Feb duldrum.
I'm not a lover of pot pourri but at christmas I do have bowls of the festive stuff with dried oranges, cinnamon sticks and fir cones in.....topped up daily with clove and cinnamon oil....Mmmmm...

You should just do it whilst hubby is out.

I will let you know....probably on Sunday I will finish the first tree. I am still waiting for the black one I ordered to arrive in store so I can go pick it up!

That sounds fab Joanne - I love cinnamon, it is my favourite scent. Where did you get the cinnamon oil from? I bought some cinnamon sticks from John Lewis but you can hardly smell them.

I bought the pot pourri from M&S a couple of christmasess ago and the oil came with it.

I bought a Mulled Wine freshener this morning, and put it in my bathroom ~ it smells very Christmassy around here

It all looks very christmassy here! So nice sitting here with the christmas tree lights flashing!
