Sorry its taken so long to get back to everyone... Gotta work to pay for the thing...
Since we are coming to the Fort the last week in October, got to get her ready for the road. The DW is pushing me to get all of the "STUFF" from our 5'er that is now in the garage and in a spare bedroom into its new home. I spent the biggest part of last night vacuuming the manufacturing debris (mostly sawdust, and wire clippings) from behind drawers and cabinets. Will try to load all of the "STUFF" this weekend.
Pirate-Jeff and Shannon, thanks for the avatar. Shannon, I do remember that you customized the blue avatar, and wouldn't dream of using anything like that without asking you first. Jeff, thanks for posting.
Jamie, I know it seems like a long way to go for a camper, but I did save quite a bit over the similar one parked at Plemmons. The one that I bought does also have some things on it that I consider deal breakers that the one at Plemmons did not have. I would however, highly recommend Plemmons for anyone who is looking for a camper of any type. The sales guy that I was dealing with there was top notch. I will find ways to "contribute to their retirement" when I can. Since that is the floorplan we were looking for, I could probably tell you where all Sightseers with the floorplan is located anywhere in the country..... I have searched the internet for weeks before finally pulling the trigger....
Mike, thats a nice rig that you have... I hope to see you at the Fort sometime...
Miztig, the french doors was one of the things that sparked interest for the DW. Now since our daughter has turned 13, she feels the need to sleep longer than anyone else. Since she will be in the "living room" on the sofa bed, we can close off that area, close the curtain over the doors, and me and DW can move about in and out without disturbing her. I guess the only negative thing is that the sofa has a built in air bed, so it will have to be inflated and deflated each night and morning. But heck, she's 13 and can do that herself.
