Woo hoo! We just won the lottery for "Wicked"!

I am so psyched! My sister (shamrock bunch) and I just won tickets for tonight's show in Pittsburgh!

They have a lottery each night for 22 tickets in the orchestra section. They draw 11 names and each person can buy two tickets for $25 each. There were over 160 people there for the drawing for tonight. Her name was the third drawn.

They do that here in Chicago also, on Wednesday night. My friend has won about 5 times, when she wins I am not able to go and the days I plan on she doesn't win. One of these days I will get to see it.

Has anyone seen the show on Broadway and then seen one of the traveling productions as well? Just wondering how they compare.

I went to a presentation by Marc Platt (Wicked producer) last week and he said that they really spared no expense with the traveling show and they had some great talent as well.
They even showed a commercial they had taped for the show, but they have never run it because they just don't need to... the traveling shows sell so well.

Of course I would not expect him to say anything different. Just wondering if anyone has first hand experience?
