Woo Hoo! Pricing Glitch Made My Brita Bottles $2.59 Each!

Scored the best bargain at Walgreens today! I had read a thread on the DIS that Brita was making their filtering water bottles again, after discontinuing them several years ago. Decided to keep an eye out for them.

I was at Walgreens and saw them for $2.59 each! That's 75% off!!!!!Apprently, each Walgreens can do their own special pricing of certain items, and the manager of this store decided to deeply discount the bottles. I grabbed about 10 of them! Yippee!

I tried to get the manager of a different Walgreens to honor that price the same day, and they told me I needed to go back to the original store to get more -- since each store is allowed to price things the way they want, the second store wouldn't honor the special price.

So it's worth checking out your own Walgreens and seeing what the price is!!! Might be the regular price, but you might score a real bargain!!!

I found a $2 off coupon online for them & target has them on sale this week for $7.99. I got a $5 gift card when I bought something there last week, if I use that, I'll only pay $.99 plus tax for it. I went to target last night to get it, but they only had twin packs and they weren't on sale, so I'll be checking a different one tonight.
