WOO HOO! ME tags have arrived!!!

I got my second set of tags today. This time I looked when I got home. All info correct and now I feel like packing. 9 days to go heck today is almost over lets say 8 days.

We leave a week from today, and got our DME package today. All the flight, resort and guest info was correct, too!

Only a few more days before we leave (5/28) and still no tags. I booked packages thru AAA so DME will be sending the tags to them. Assuming they actually get the tags sometime this week, they still have to get them to us. I can go pick them up since the office is just down the street; however, they have to mail some of the tags to another part of Virginia and the remaining tags to San Diego! I did call DME and they confirmed that we are in the system, so I guess are tags are in process somewhere.

Oh well, if we don't get them I guess it will just make checkin at the airport a little longer when we arrive at MCO.

Meanwhile, I'll keep my fingers-crossed.

I've yet to get a call from my AAA agent about the tags arriving and we're leaving Monday...how do I get in touch with DME about it and what do I ask? I have no idea since AAA did the whole thing for us (Minus PS at the restaurants)

So I should be seeing mine around the 2nd or 3rd since I am leaving on June 11th? When did everyone get their AAA package, still waiting to get a call from AAA to pickup the package but nothing yet?

We are leaving the 11th too. We are staying DVC so it will be interesting to see who gets their's 1st. Where are you staying? If you get a double shipment like some other posters have maybe you can mail me the spares and at least I'll know where to claim my bags at

ShellyShellfish- The DME phone # is 1-866-599-0951 . Ask them if they have your reservations, they may need your flight number or hotel reservation number. They are very nice and will be able to tell you if you are in their sytem. Good luck!

yeah, don't know the hotel reservation number, I tried logging into wdw.com and it said my phone number wasn't right, but I knew it was, so I think I was using the AAA reservation # and not the Disney #....but I do have my flight info, I'll be giving them a call tomorrow for sure. Leaving May 31st, and got our tags yesterday !
I called Disney to check 3 days before they arrived - don't know if that had anything to do with it, or not?

We aren't going till June 11 but should I call to make sure they have my info and when should I do it. Should I call Disney res or the ME #.

Yes, I would call ME just to be sure. Check for the phone number a few threads back.

Surprise, surprise - still no ME tags!

Could it have something to do with booking DME through DVC? I've called ME twice since making the reservation and they do have us in the system and they have the correct flight information.

I've just about given up hope of getting my tags.

I didn't book thru DVC, but thru AAA. However, I booked all of this back in February. We are on the system but were in the system pretty early on... If they have to download the info from their database to send to the printers, perhaps they missed something and didn't pull down our info.

Oh well, I already gave up on getting the tags. I'll deal with it when I get to MCO.

Staying at the CSR. I still have not even heard from AAA yet with my pkg. I already called the ME # and they have my correct dates, flights, and times. Even after the times changed they have that too.

We leave on June 2 and our tags got here today. I talked to disney Sunday and they told me some of them were not getting to you till 2 dayys before you leave, she said they are color coded by were you are staying call and see what color they are and ifthey dont arrive before you leave she suggested tieing a piece of ribbon on your luggage of that color she said just give your luggage claim tickets to the waving hand.

I called the ME # today to see if we were in the computer with the right flight info, AA changed our flight. They had our incoming info because we are staying at POR the 1st night then transferring to BWV, but nothing about leaving. She said I would have to call DVC to check on that info. So I guess it's just a waiting game.

Ours was booked thru DVC too; never had any conversations with DME directly. We got our packet yesterday for our trip next Tuesday. Hope yours comes!!

yippee!! I got my tags today, my AAA agent called before I could even get a chance to verify with DME....what a relief...and the flight info was right too!

We're leaving June 1st and still no ME tags. I did call a couple days ago to verify they had our information and they asked me for all the info again. So I am assuming they did not have it. They were real nice and just told me what to do if we don't get them. So, I made my mind up that I am not going to worry about it. I'm just going to plan on having a good time after we get there. I guess I already had in my mind that they would not come on time. But who knows, they might surprise me.
