WOO HOO! ME tags have arrived!!!

I agree, Kesha, with ME or without ME, we will still have the magic of Disney! :wizard: And everything is wonderful there!! Have a good time! :wave2:

Oh well, I'm packed and ready to go in the morning. Never did receive my ME tags. I'm going to try to carry on my small rolling bag and avoid the whole luggage search thing. They did tell me we were in the system, so I'll just proceed to the check in desk when we arrive.

I will post how it goes when I return next week.

I went outside my front door this morning and behind my milk cooler was a FX envelope. Almost didn't see it. I guess they came yesterday and hid it. It was ME tags. Yeah!!!! There is hope. June 2nd leaving. Still need one more set though. It was only half of them.
I am glad you said that they left it at the front door!
I was really getting worried with everyone saying "Fed Ex" Fed Ex"!!!
Anytime I have ever had Fed Ex deliver something....they ALWAYS need a signiture! :earseek:
I work and am never here when they try to deliver! :earseek:
I've always had to got to the neareast pick up center which is 30 minutes away!! :earseek:

I certainly hope if they send my tags FedEx....they leave them at my door! :earboy2:

How many days prior to your trip did you get your AAA pkg?

I got my AAA package about 3 few weeks ago, but the ME is sent separately. Disney usually sends out the reservation information for your resort and tickets about 45 days before your arrival. ME is "supposed" to go out 21 days prior. AAA should have your Disney packet by now.

BTW, leaving in 23 hours... still no DME.... and I still haven't packed! d'OH gonna be a long night... :confused3

BUT a FUN 9 DAYS! :cool1: :teeth: :cool1:

Only 2 weeks till I leave and no pkge from AAA!!!!!! Just left a message on my agents phone. :earseek: :earseek: :scared:

Would you believe my AAA agent just called me back. She has my pkg ready for pickup. Of course minus the ME luggage tags. She did say she had a voucher from Disney explaining what to do if they do not show up in time. She promised that once she gets them she will send them overnight delivery to me. :cheer2:

We got our tags for the trip to WDW yesterday. We still have not gotten the return trip tags. I booked our 1st night at POR so it looks like the CRO side of ME is running better. Now I hope the MS side of ME delivers before we leave.

Got my ME tags!!!

But check your tags carefully, they have the right day and flight#, but the wrong airline??????

AAA called ME and they told her to have me cross off the airline and put the right one since the flight #'s are correct. Also on the return flight they suggested we bring our luggage with us to the bus, unload it and check it ourselves for our trip home. Something about the airports not being too keen on luggage coming in with someone other the the owners????? Does this sound right????

Boy, that's weird. I thought I read how great the FTA thought this was and how this is supposed to be the waive of the future. So why did MCO go along with it if they didn't like it.

We received our tags on Tues for our June 12th trip! :goodvibes
But....after much thought....I don't think I will use the tags.
Still plan on using ME, but I will pull the luggage myself.

We arrive at 9:10pm.....and we have a PS at the Crystal Palace at 8am the next morning.....
We can't take the chance of not having our luggage till the next morning. :earseek:

If everyone does this- how do they handle the luggage on the bus and does it lengthen the amount of time it takes for everyone to get to their stop? I though the purpose of luggage transportation was to bypass the loading/unloading of luggage at every stop with DME.

also that is really weird that they are suggesting to handle your own luggage on the way back- that's supposed to be a perk of DME and it's disconcerting to hear the airline doesn't like it?

Here was what I just posted on another thread......
If we were arriving in the morning or afternoon....I would absolutely let them get the luggage and then just have it brought to the room.....
There are just too many things we will need that night and first thing in the morning....
We don't want to have to worry about if and when our luggage will get there.

They do allow you to load your own luggage. When I checked in for DME they asked if I had gotten my luggage or if I wanted them to get it. There were a few people that were loading their luggage on the bus when we were loading. Additionally, they loaded the "carry-on" luggage under the bus at the same time. It probably slowed the process a little but not much.
