Wondering about MVMCP...

We had thought we would not do the parade but after seeing all the threads and seeing it was more than a parade but a party like atmosphere I started wondering. So a few questions...we would be doing the 20 Dec parade. Is it usually jampacked because it is the last one? Will the park be a total zoo and best to avoid? I wondered if we should do this to get the most out of MK as I noticed others said alot of the lines are very small. Please give me your insight! Though my family seems to think MGM will be their favorite park as their mother and knowing them much better than they can hope to know themselves ( ) beg to differ. I think MK will be a hit and think we will be there alot more than we have alotted.

MVMCP= Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
I love going, but we have always gone earlier in the month.
It is more than a parade, they make it snow on main street, there are quite a number of rides open, there are shows, the parade runs twice and there is a special version of the Wishes fireworks and of course hot chocolate and cookies.
The closer it gets to Christmas the heavier the crowds get in general,the 20th is the last date for the party so I would expect that it will be very crowded.
