I'm ashamed to admit it, but my Disney knowledge is dwindling faster than my waistline. What is it exactly? Is there a "suggested area" to watch from? Are fireworks involved? Is it a parade?? I'm so lost....

Really as far as where to watch, it's best viewed from the courtyard in front of the Chinese theater, and visible heading down the main street (I think that's Hollywood blvd), at least down to the starbucks. It's really not visible beyond that because you can't see past the people.

It's not really all that exciting in my opinion, but it does jam up the area because people stop to watch

I thought it was a cute little show. There weren't really fireworks, but there were a couple of like blasts going off at certain points. It's mostly like an animation/projection show rather than something with fireworks.

When my family was there at the end of May, everyone was sitting down during the show so it was pretty visible from anywhere in the center area in front of the Chinese theater.
