Hey sjlnv & everyone else who booked "GTY" cabin assignments have been posted this morning! We had booked a Guaranteed Outside stateroom and got Outside stateroom, Category 9B on Deck 2 mid.

Yup - we just got ours (I was coming on here to let everyone know they were out but you beat me to it )

We are on 2 as well - and we got 3 cabins together

Kathy - could you update the FE list? I am in 2500 (with DH, DS11 & DS7); DNiece and DD are next door in 2502.

Now I have a place to stay (and don't have to stowaway in the lifeboats) it is all getting VERY close!

So excited! We might try to upgrade at port! If that is the case I will be sure to let someone know!

Can't wait! With only 12days left on land, we are off to an awesome start!

USUKMama - haha yep even though I was hoping to see the room# posted, I wasn't expecting to see them. I got use to seeing GTY every day. . . So a nice surprise to start the week!

sjlnv - still debating here on the upgrade. we are very close to the middle elevators/stairs so location wise it's perfect. Being in the back of the ship last time was good though just a couple decks below most of the restaurants & the soda machines. No complaints either way! I've been told. . . if the rep at the counter says no upgrades available you should check with a supervisor. . I believe there is dedicated supervisors/concierge desk at the port.

wow just 12 days to go & so much to still do. . . .

That was a GREAT April Fool's joke! I was bummed.. I was like aww man! hehehe.. Yesterday (4/1) was Robert's birthday as well. He had a good weekend.

Happy to see everyone is getting cabin assignments. Looks like most of us are on the second deck... sweeeeeeeeeeet!!

getting close. However I have two weeks of training people at work to do the jobs I do they have no one left to pick up the slack so I know when I get back it will be BAD but I have told all I will not think about them and my phone will be off.........

I think I will pack a sewing kit today that sounds like something we might need on this ship of fools!

Caitlyn you better get well take some vitamen C could help and sure will not hurt.
WE have been battling it too. And for everyone else I am sorry I did not warn you about my Daughter she is bad with April Fools gags she has been banned from work not being a coffee drinker she replaced the coffee with pepsi a couple years ago at work and has not been invited to work the day since then! What a Brat.

Where are you coming from? Some of the people from Ca that are driving are posting signs in there cars on the way to help others spot them on the drive.
We are coming from Nevada but driving across 80 and down 5 so we will be making the trek. Leaving early though to visit family and a day in the park before the cruise.
My daughter is SJNV on this site. I do not spend as much time on the boards as she does.

As for my next 11 days... really 8days as I won't be on much after, will be reading, but not posting as it is difficult on the cell phone... I think I will pack my gift cards today! I made out really great with the gift cards from Smiths and will go again tonight or tomorrow! Got gas for $2.93 with my $1.00 off a gallon!

My total count down is... 2 more days of work (Sat & Mon), 8 days to leave town, 10days to Disneyland, and 11 days to the Mickey's Boat! But who's counting right! So can't wait!

leisjan1, I am in the same position as you at work! I haven't begun to train the person filling in for me while I'm on the cruise. Yikes! I can only imagine the mess I will be coming back to on that following Monday!

sjlnv only 2 more days of work? wow lucky. . i count 7 1/2 more days of work here !!

Okay, so Caitlyn is home again trying to get rid of this cough ... I think sunshine would actually help but mother nature isn't giving us any until the weekend I hear.
I bought gallon size zip-loc bags yesterday to start packing up outfits in and am going to do laundry for the rest of the week (would it be bad to make the kids go naked during spring break so I can cut down on laundry?)
Anyway for those interested I did call Disney and asked about movies ... and they gave me the list (that is subject to change) So let me know if there is a certain movie you want to know about ask or PM me. John Carter is going in both 2D and 3D. And Chimpanzeses is going to Premier on Board the 22.

I work at the hospital, and only work 3 days a week.. I took 2 vaca days the week before our cruise so with only 5 vaca days I'm off for 27 days. It's really nice... but I have to work 12 hrs each day I'm at work! I can't complain though I work in the NICU with premature babies! Love it!

The last 2 days at work were hard so I didn't get to come on the boards much... and I missed the post about Robert. Happy Belated Birthday! I hope the wife makes them sing to you on the boat and bring on the embarrasing fun!
With only 10 days left I'm packing flash lights today.

I'm excited to hear about chimps! We always go on earth day to the movie to see Disney's nature one! I was bummed when I realized that we missed it, so that makes me very happy.

Caitlyn -Vit C! They have chewable.You are 10 right? That means you can take 2 a day! It helps fight off all bugs! I like sucking on them and letting them melt in your mouth as it seems to help smooth the throat. They taste like oranges! Evan's been on them for about 3 weeks now, as well as a breathing machine as he got the head cold that comes with a nasty cough. Now his cough comes only when he is running.. You won't miss the cruise! Just stop kissing all your boy friends and drinking after your friends and you'll be well on the trip!

flashlights HUH! Can someone dim the lights on 2 and we will play flashlight tag that sounds like fun.
I am also excited about the Chimp movie. Love their nature films.
Evan is excited about John Carter. Sandi had also asked a while back and they still had last years nature film listed with subject to change,
I love all the Disney movies so I might sleep on Deck part of the day and go to the movies and try to stay awake during a marathon movie day!

Sandi, I am going to pack shoes today.
The bags that I bought I got at Ross not at home depot but you pack in them and then roll them to get the air out they have zip locks. They so seem to compress items. I came home and Sandi had packed and sees a major difference in the room it takes to pack. I told her she cannot leave the clothes in them until the trip since I think they would all be wrinkled.
Is anyone taking extra hangers. We are planning to bring some extras since I hear they do not have many in the rooms.
I have some old wire ones that will pack easily and I will not care if I leave them when we come home.
We leave Reno one week from tomorrow to start our trip, you guys all drive carefully on your way down and see you there.

Caitlyn is NOT taking the meds offered to her but I do like the Vit. C suggestion - will pick some out.
We should start thinking of a meeting time, location and date (does it have to be the first day?) - Probably just to inform eachother of any room changes duh me
did we want to find a color to wear to allow our group to recognize eachother -- or i thought if you guys wanted I could come up with a mickey head design and you would print it up at home to pin on somewhere. I can show examples if you like this idea

Grandma... Have fun packing shoes... but if all you are doing is sleeping on deck, and watching movies... you do not need that whole suitcase for shoes...
On that note, I will be packing my gym clothes and tennis shoes! Looking at on of the recent navigators I noticed that they have a big soccer game planned! Guess we'll have to go work on our skills the next few days! Also the treadmil that over looks the ocean. I hope to see whlaes from the first few days!

New sandals arrived yesterday and I went out and got a big bottle of sunscreen. I think we are almost ready!!

Very excited about the Chimp movie. I'd noticed that it was due to be released that week and was hoping they would be showing it. DS will be very excited to hear John Carter is still on as well.

Now back to organizing the weekend chocolate fest!
