WONDERFUL point rental experince (THANKS NUTHUT!!)

Just back from BCV and had a magical trip all the way around starting with a smooth check in at BCV with a friendly "Welcome Home" from Hazel the CM.

We rented points for this trip through Jerry aka "nuthut" here on the DIS Boards and it was by far the easiest, smoothest transaction I have ever had. It was so nice having the personalized service I got from him rather than the (sometimes not so friendly, or for that matter helpful) CRO when we have booked regular rooms in the past. He gave me restaurant recommendations and answered my many months of pestering questions before the trip.

The price can't be beat and it was by far the nicest room we have ever had on property, in a beautiful building and a great location.

We would have never been able to afford one of the Epcot resorts without renting points and we will defintiely be renting in the future from "nuthut".

If you are thinking about renting points but are nervous about the transacion, don't be! It was smooth sailing from the beginning and as long as you get a trustworthy person with references you don't need to worry about anything, and count me as a new reference for Jerry (nuthut). I give him 5 stars, a glowing recommendation!!! THANKS AGAIN NUTHUT!!!

I'll second the glowing recommendation for DVC point rental and for Jerry, aka nuthut, in particular. I've rented from Jerry several times, as has my brother, and it's always been a great experience. Thanks to my rental experience, I bought into DVC! Even after joining, I have still rented from Jerry when my points haven't stretched quite far enough.
I know it's scary for people to rent that first time (scared of being ripped off) but Jerry is very trustworthy and a pleasure to work with.
In fact, we're planning a family trip next Thanksgiving and I'll be working with Jerry again on that trip.
