Wonderful Panama Canal Sept 2014

pixiedust: Hello all tinker and myself are joining this group. Thanks for all the information, lots to read. We are seniors so walking tours are not for us. We will have to figure something out. Have some time before booking excursions. 15 days until we can start, we are platinum members. This will be number. 15. :cool1::cool1::woohoo: yes we are excited.:wave2:

THNLK- just checking in. Sent you a message about a week ago on the private tour in Cartagena. Please check and message me back if you are still interested. Thanks!

I thought I replied right back. Must not have gone through will try again

Ok guys, the gals on here, and my wife too, are on to something with those Skechers with memory foam. I want on to Amazon and bought me a pair of Skechers with memory foam for men. They just arrived today. I got to say I feel like I am walking on clouds on my feet. Each step is soft, comfortable, bouncy and springy. I just may sleep in them tonight. With all of the walking we are going to do on these excursions, I am glad I spent the money on these shoes.
I bought a pair three months ago. I love love love them. My feet feel wonderful at the end of the day. Did I say I love them? They are wonderful! Hope you both like them as much I do.:)

Thanks for making us welcome. We are very excited, is anyone traveling from orlando got some pretty good air prices.:hourglass

well ty all for the well wishes regarding my job interview i got the job starting june 1st im going to be working 24 hours a week
Congrats!!!!!! What floor/unit are you working on now? I work a 0.7 which means 56 hours in a 2 week period, so it's like 3 days one week/four on the other. But my schedule is weird so I work 1 week on/1 week off. Congrats!!!! What shift?

Since when??? We use them every cruise without trouble - on all 4 ships. Last was the Dream in Feb, the Fantasy in Oct, the Magic last spring. I think if you try to plug in two heated hair appliances they will tell you no. Also - no heating elements such as coffee pots, imersion heaters, or candle warmers are allowed either. The restrictions are listed on the contract - read it over if you are thinking of bringing something that heats up. Years ago I sailed with someone who brought a curling iron and flat iron - she had them both plugged in...tap,tap,tap on the door and an officer asking us to not plug them in. One at a time for a brief period was ok - but not both at the same time.
I want to say November?
You and your DH, Stephanie, sound allot like Donna and I. We both get up at 4:20am every weekday. We go to bed around 8:30 to 9 as well. We call sleeping in on the week-ends if we sleep until 6am!!! So we record everything too. Don't know what we'd do if someone hadn't invented the dvr!!!:confused3
Okay I can top that: when I end my week on I go to bed at 5pm, wake up at 1am, then the next day at 6pm and 2am, and so forth.

LOVE my Sketchers. In between them and my new Clarks, they're the most comfy shoes I own. Not the prettiest pig in the barn, but comfy.

It is still a dementia clients but in a new location which still has to be finished 24 hours is about 67% full time here is 36 hours but nobody will get that because then u cant be flexible

I too would like to :welcome::welcome::welcome: pooh & tinker to the cruise. So glad ya'll are joining us. This is a GREAT group on here. So many wonderful people who are helpful, and chock full of Disney Cruise knowledge. Cruise number 15, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Have you done the Panama Canal cruise before? Just wondering. Again, welcome aboard!!!

Interesting...............I just checked the DCL website to see when the Wonder leaves Miami for the west coast this month. I got a message that this cruise, the EBPC cruise, is sold out. So I checked our cruise in September and looked at the verandah staterooms and there seems to be verandahs available in all verandah categories. Don't know how many, but they are available. How do you find out Steve, how many rooms are available in each category? :confused3

:rotfl:no this will be our first for Panama Canal.. I have talked about it for years and never liked flying in both directions so this year we come back to port canaveral and we live in Florida so perfect for us. Fly one way and that's it.
Don't know how to list all our adventurers but will try and get them in lets just say we started cursing in 2007 and we were hooked, for us it is the only way to travel.

We live in Florida as well. We live just about 25 miles northwest of Tampa on the west coast of Florida. We started cruising in 2007 as well. This will be our 6th Disney Cruise, we have sailed on other cruise lines too. I agree with you that cruising is the best way to travel. We love it. If I win the lottery, I just may buy a stateroom on one of the Disney ships and live there full time!!!:rotfl2::rotfl:

Winning the lottery and the pch sounds like a great plan.(Just hope it comes true!!!)

No we didn't go on the first Trans Atlantic - sure would have liked to. We took our granddaughter on her first cruise on the Magic in 2007. We did a 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise. She loved it. We have taken her on 3 other cruise since then. But now she is getting older and in high school, and we can't take her out school. She is an honor roll student. She is such a GREAT kid!!!
