My daughter's communion is this May, and the cruise in October is her gift. Trying to think of a cool way to "wrap" it , so to speak. I saved the post card that we received when we first booked and could put that in a box....when I was at WDW last week I looked around for a small model of the ship, but didn't see anything anywhere.

Any ideas?

I like the commercials that WDW has right now that are like invitations. How about something like that? An invitation from Mickey to cruise with him. It would be really cool if you could get balloons to come out, but maybe instead attach a Mickey helium balloon to the invitation. I don't know how old she is, but maybe add information or pics from Nassau, the Wonder and/or CC so she can get a real feel for what's happening. I'll bet you could get someone going in April or early May to have Mickey sign something for her and send it to you, like the Fairygodmailers. Just a thought. Let us know what you decide to do.

Hi! Hope everyone had a GREAT Easter!! I'm sitting here at work - working an extra shift for an insane amount of money that's going right into the Disney Vacay fund!! YAY! I think I've decided to nix Atlantis for this cruise. I think we'll get off the ship & wonder the straw market for a bit & then back to the boat for more fun.... Of course there's plenty of time to change my mind. LOL! But I just can't see paying $300+ for waterpark activities - albeit a grand waterpark. LOL!! I think that $300 would best be used on souveniers & pins.

My wife announced that she has found some spare money and she is going to get us MNSSHP tickets for the day we get off the cruise. Even though we have got 14 day tickets for WDW it will be good fun. Anyone else going?

We had not planned on going, but that would be a great end to the cruise. you'll have a wonderful time.

Not sure if we are going to go yet but if we do it will be the night we get off the cruise also ( Our last night before we fly home ). It would be a great end to the holiday. Just have to convince DH to part with some more £££ or I could give him 5 tickets for his birthday and fathers day

I wish we were. We love MNSSHP...we've been twice. Unfortunately, we are hopping right on the plane off of the boat! We are doing WDW for three days prior and don't have the time to fit this in.

We are going to attend MNSSHP, but we're not sure if we'll do it that day or on Saturday. My DH wants to take the kids to the Kennedy Space Center, so we may do that on Thursday instead.

We are going! And now my sister, her 2 kids, and her boyfriend are joining us on the cruise! I'll get her on the disboard so ya'll can meet her as well!

We're going to MNSSHP. We'll be at Disney the week before the cruise. Still haven't decided if we'll do any days after....depends on airfare prices. LOL!

hi all!!!!!!! just checking in. Its baseball and mens softball season around here so its nuts!! run run run!!! We also are headed to MNSSHP on the Thursday we get off...should be tons of fun!! Well just wanted to stop by..hope to get caught up on DIS soon

Looks like we're the only ones not going to MNSSHP. We are however visiting Downtown Disney and then heading to see family for the evening before heading back the next morning.

Has everyone doing the fish extender gotten theirs yet? We've finished our project and if I get a chance in the next few days, I'll try to post a pic of ours.

Has everyone gotten your passports? I have not even started, but plan to next week when I get paid.

We are using our fish extender from our last cruise. I really need to get started on the treats for the extenders though.

I think we are going to fly in on the 16th now. The flights are cheaper, I have been watching the flights and that is the best day. So I need to call the Vacation Club and see if we can get our room 1 more day earlier.

I will be pulling the kids out for 3 or 3 1/2 days of school now. Our family 9 people are meeting us at WDW when we get back from the cruise.
