Wonder updates - here you go :)

Last year on the Art of the Ship Tour on the Magic they told us they intentionally dulled down the "After Hours" area theming to make it less attractive to kids. They were certain at that time it would occur on the Wonder whenever she did get to dry dock. We too photographed the heck out of the area last cruise knowing they would be taking it out. For the Pub, I think this is its 4th makeover, O'Gills, Diversions and Barrel of Fun I think. I do really enjoy having slightly different theming on each ship keeping them unique.

This actually makes a lot of sense. I looked at the pictures of Route 66 after seeing your post and it looks to me like something every little Cars fan would want to check out.

It looks like it won't get the aqua duck. With that weight they have to add the duck tail. I don't think they want to add it, but who knows. With all the problems with the locks going on in Panama they might not to risk it since they only get one free pass through the old locks with the duck tail, so if they couldn't get it through that's a long sail around to Alaska. Remember Alaska is becoming even of there popular cruise, and I don't think they would want to risk it, and not have an Alaska season and lose any docking privalige

Not sure what is truth but a poster on the other thread reported that they were told that the ducktail was being added....time will tell!

It's my understanding that the duck tail being added isn't so much because of the added weight of the AquaDunk (or whatever). But, it's actually being done to many older ships (on various cruise lines) to make them more stable in the water.
