So, about the FE stuff. Got the email--thanks for doing the Google doc, Amy. I can post a list on my door, but I don't think it should be the full spreadsheet because there is a lot of personal info on there. Maybe just screennames and cabin numbers? Should I clip it to the back of my Fish Extender rather than posting it on my door? Also, I'm thinking just one copy of the list and people are responsible for filling in their cabin number and copying down changes on their own paper.
Also, it would be good if everyone could update the list ASAP once they are onboard (and I have the list out)--preferably by Tuesday at noon at the latest--so that people have the freedom to deliver FE gifts whenever works for their schedule.
I got the list. Got the kid gifts done and labeled. My question is how many on the list are from somewhere in Washington? No sense in doing WA gifts for those already familiar with "Tacoma Turds" and applets and cotlets.
TIA
Will we be doing a meet?
Hi! I have just joined Disboards (LOVING it so far!) so I have not had a chance to communicate with my fellow cruisers. I will be cruising along with you. This will be my 13th cruise with Disney so looking forward to more of the excellent service! I can't believe it's only 16 days away! Talk to you through the screen.
I will be leaving tomorrow on the Magic from NYC to Canada and wont chec in until Aug 11. My opinion on the meet is to skip it There are so many new cruisers who will be exploring the ship etc that a meet up at 3 will seem overwhelming. Ive sailed over 20 times with DCL and hate to leave the pool on that first afternoon. I think that anybody who changes rooms should update their room on the posted chart behind the FE as suggested. Again this is just an opinion and we can plan based on majority. Looking forward to our trip ut will have a busy week after the Magic cruise as ill have to pack for a few days in Seattle , cruise, Disneyland , and Las Vegas ! What was I thinking???
Reisdawg... We are from Washington. My son would think the Tacoma turds are funny.I got the list. Got the kid gifts done and labeled. I do agree that it would be to hard to commit to a meet up. Everyone in my family is super excited for our first cruise.
I would bet if you are from here you have eaten Tacoma turds in the form of almond roca. Funny story told by a prof in college. She went to school with a Haley as in brown and Haley. A few friends went to visit the Haley's house w/o knowing the connection. Big bowl of almond roca on table and visitor announced Tacoma turds. Haley family thought it was funny.
