I thought it was just ok, personally. Apparently I stink at relaxing though. (or at least relaxing silently and alone!) So - the showers are nice, but really - a few minutes was enough for me. They are nowhere near as good as the ones at the Aulani spa (if you've been there or heard of them), so that was a bit of a letdown for me. I didn't find the saunas all that exciting either, esp since you can use the one in the locker room for free anyway. Warm vs dry in a hot little room doesn't matter to me, and the attendant never explained if there was an order to doing the various things - so it's possible some magical combination makes the difference. The heated lounge chairs are also nice, and I know they're the biggest draw... so I'm probably alone in that after about 10min, I felt like my skin was burning. Obviously it really wasn't!

But it was uncomfortably warm directly against my skin, so I spent time fussing with covering it with towels so my calves, etc didn't touch it. I know there are issues some times with people hogging them, and that wasn't a problem on the day i was there, which was in the afternoon on Nassau day. Only one other woman was in there with me, and only part of the time. The rest of the time I was alone. Another minor irritation for me was that it seemed like no one was attending to it at all. The drinking water was out the entire time I was in there, and I went back to the locker room to check for messages from my kids and back again, so I was there awhile between that and trying everything out. After being shown how to use the band to get into the room, the only time I saw an employee again at all was at the desk when I left, or I would have brought that to someone's attention. (I didn't want to go all the way to the desk in a robe.)
FWIW, my husband had the same impression - it was fine, I guess we're glad we tried it once, but we won't pay for a day pass or a weeklong pass again on the classics.
