Womens sized bathing suits....on a budget

I bought a beautiful suit from the Overstocks on Lands End. I LOVE IT :lovestruc I have never had a suit that fit so well. I have weird proportions and love that you can order by size and cup size. If you are a D/DD they also offer extra support with criss-cross straps :thumbsup2 If you like 1 piece suits, they have a TON for $19.99 right (and look for free shipping coupons online). You can return items at a Sears (with Lands End inside) and reorder if your size is not right.

target is where I have had the most success with swimsuits. I have 2 that I have had for 3-4 years and they have held up great. I did take advantage of the landsend sale though and bought a new tankini for this summer since you can never have too many suits in south fla. we will see how it fits.

As someone who wears a size 12 but a DDD on a top I found that buying a quality bra sized top is essential. The discount retailers such as Target and Wal-Mart just don't carry lift and supporting tops. If you are well endowed on top I suggest checking out Aerin Rose for tops and just buying cheap bottoms from a discount retailer such as Target. The bottoms are always what seem to wear out first with little pilling spots on the butt area from sitting on the side of pool.

I'm in the same situation and about the same size as you, great idea! :thumbsup2

Is Aerin Rose online or local, never heard of them before?

I'm so glad I found this thread! I struggle every year trying to find an affordable good bathing suit. I found a couple of cute ones at Fashion Bug but they were like $80. I just have a hard time spending that much on a suit. They were really cute though.

Thanks for the suggestion! $20 is a great price.

I got mine at Old Navy last year and I love it. I don't think I paid over $20 during a sale.
