Is this worth a table serving choice for dinner? I called to make my reservation and the woman told me it's not the upstairs restaurant that is on the plan and that's the menu I was looking at. I was using a poster's Top Disney Restaurants by Value sheet which listed Wolfgang's at $44.83 and I don't see how that would be at the Cafe. Now I'm really confused and not sure if I should make a reservation change. Help!

You're right. The most expensive DDP-eligible meal at Wolfgang Puck only comes to about $40.36.

"Worth" a table serving choice is subjective. If you're choosing a restaurant (and thus, food) based solely on getting the most for one's money, it's not a good choice. If you're choosing a restaurant because you like the food, THEN it's a good value.

We dined there last Thursday and used it at lunch. I thought it was a good use of a credit. However, I guess it depends on if you're on the basic dining plan or the deluxe plan. We were on the deluxe so we had 3 meals a day or 2 (1 breakfast and then a nice Signature Dining restaurant for dinner)
If it was to take place of my supper/dinner meal then I probably would pick somewhere else.
No complaints with our food - it was really good.

we enjoy WPC, but you would need to check the menu to see what you would order, then decide if it is worth it.
btw, if you ordered the most expensive entree & dessert, your OOP cost would be over $45 (excluding tip, of couse ;) )

Pork Chop - $27.95
Ice Cream "Cone-a-Copia" - $11.95
beverage $2.95
$42.85
with tax: $45.64
