WOC Holiday FP - Jan 4-6?

We're considering another holiday trip to DCA after SoCal Select blackouts have ended. That leaves us three days (Jan 4, 5, and 6). Assuming that the Christmas WOC is playing, our primary objective would be to see that, but we wouldn't necessarily be able to come up for a full day.

Any guess about crowd levels that W-F? Any guess about FP availability for WOC (i.e., when they'd be gone)?

I went last Tuesday and was able to get a pretty good standby spot at 8:45 for the 9 pm show. I personally like the stand by section better; if you are too close to the water, the projections are a little blurry (to me anyways). Then we later met up with friends who wanted to see WOC, so we went to the stand by seating area again around 10 for the 10:15 show and were told we could sit in either the yellow or blue section. There was a lot of room left around us.

Hopefully they have 2 show in January. This will make it easier to see the show.
