WoC Glow with the Show

If you can generate the "IF", they will probably trigger on the 2nd harmonic.

So if the IF is 457.000mhz, the it should also trigger the device operating on 915mhz. Or you can get a Zigbee demo kit and use their gateway. :surfweb:

457.000 mhz is a legal frequency for me (and you) to transmit on. Hmmm.

Oh, and this is part of the "Next-Gen" initiative. If you have your ears on, Disney Parks & Resorts knows where you are. Zigbee is a bidirectional protocol and can be triangulated.

If there was ever any doubt about who is the King of Geeks, this thread removes it. The rest of us are just wannabees. ;)
Jack, Christy says that I am "one with the 0's and 1's."

So what do these hats do the rest of the time when you're walking around the park or elsewhere? Do they blink to a pre-set pattern? Do they flash randomly? Do they respond to sounds?

I don't know, but if if get one, I'm breaking out the Aluminum foil.

Pretty much flash to a pre-set pattern. We've heard they respond to WoC, Mad T Party, Flo's and Mater's. There could be more.

It is based on this technology for an interactive wand...

Nothing, yet. It was. Research experiment. But this is something that could be rolled out.

Okay, this is all too "techy" for me! :worship: All I know is . . . it looks VERY cool!!! With three kids, I guess I need to budget an extra $75 on souvenirs at DCA next year!!! :thumbsup2

Todd - Didn't you get yours for FREE with your AP?!?!?!

Better budget $125. You and Bill are gonna want a pair as well. =-) Not just for the kiddos.

And yeah. Ours were free. Surprising that we get a tangible decent perk out of the AP.

Kelly got one, too, which means I get to wear hers when I go to the parks. :cool1:

I think that DLR gives really nice perks to APers. I've been able to go to two AP events - Soundsational Parade, and Cars Land preview - and appreciated the opportunity to do so. :)

How cool would these be in fantasmic , or illuminations too.. Or wishes...
