WOC Dessert Party Table # with Pictures of view

How does it work for a party of 6? Are you split up between two tables? Thanks.

When we did a party of 6 we had a full table for four and then shared a table with two other folks. Tables were next to each other.

I saw some tables that had a lot of chairs on Sunday night. It looked like large parties. I didn't realize you could do that.

Did the dessert party on May 10, party of 5. I requested high top, as close to the circle as possible. We got #25, which was actually 2 tables pushed together, with 6 chairs around the outside. No one was ever seated in the extra chair. The circle remained mostly empty. It seemed like there was lots of room in all the standing sections. It was a grad night, so maybe the masses of teenagers had scared everyone off by that point. Our server was super attentive, it was a wonderful experience.

I am just now getting time to post about our trip to Disneyland May 4th-10th. We went to the WOC dessert party that Sunday, May 5th (first showing), and asked for table 27, but it was taken, so we got 26 to the left of it - still an amazing view! There were 3 of us, and no one sat with us. Here is a picture right when the show started and our dessert plate.

Word is definitely out about table 27 (the first two people in line requested it and I was #3). We opted for 26 as well and thought it was great.

Thanks for all the amazing advice. We did the second show of WOC desert party. I arrived to check in at 7:50 and was third in line. They didn’t start checking people in till 8:15. We had a group of six and I asked for table 25. The view was fabulous. We returned to wait to be seated at 9:25. We had plenty of time to get settled eat and get drinks. Again, thanks so much for the advice about table 25. It was a high top with two tables together-perfect for 6 people

We went last night and had 24 (the lowtop in front of 27) and it was amazing. Everyone could see including my two kids. When we checked in I asked the CM to seat us where they would want to sit and it was perfect. Front middle. Side note- loved the show so much! Definitely the best way to see it.

That's good to know! We've always taken a high top because I've been afraid the view would be obstructed in the shorter tables.

I'd also love to see a photo of your dessert plate if you took one.

The one you see with the flower is my daughter’s dairy-free plate. She's lactose intolerant. Side note - I didn't call in ahead, and when they asked about allergies, my daughter said she'd eat around the things with dairy as I didn't call in ahead, (mom fail), and the CM’s were so lovely and insisted on calling to the kitchen to have one brought up for her. Very nice.

I have an early and late dessert party booked for next week. Solo trip!
First time to DCA. I grew up about an hour from yesteryear Disneyland.
First, what do you do about tipping?
Second, it sounds like the advantage of the first party is to head to Cars Land after.
The advantage of the second is that it ends after park close?

I'm going to the dessert party for the late show (10:15 p.m.). Since this starts 15 min after park closing, I'd like to ride as many rides as possible before the party. How late can I show up to get seated & see the show? For instance, could I show up at 9:55 or is that too late? I don't need the best table, but I don't want to show up so late that I get turned away or don't get dessert!

You'll check in about an hour ahead of time and get your table assignment, so you don't need to worry about being turned away if you come to the show at 9:55. But the earlier you get to your table the more time you'll have to eat. They'll save your plate for you but if you show up at the last minute you'll be eating in the dark and the CM might not come back as often for drink refills, etc. You can get your desserts to go if you don't have time to eat them all.

Have a very impromptu visit to LA to go to Danny Elfman concert so adding 2 days at DL. Just adult DS and myself. Trying to make every minute count but really struggling with the cost of this and the small plate of desserts. Being a WDW Vet we are used to a dessert buffet. DS really wants to see WOC (myself don't really care about it) and I'm not sure the cost of this is justified. Is it really impossible to watch this show without spending big bucks or hours to get a spot? Can you view from any other area of park, yes I understand view not optimal.

It is not impossible but I have done WOC from standby, dinner package, and dessert party and in my opinion there is no comparison…dessert party all the way. We have done WDW dessert parties as well and none of us have ever finished even half of the dessert plate from WOC. Full disclosure none of use are huge eaters.

It's not impossible to watch WOC without the dessert party, but the dessert party has a wonderful view and the best part—chairs. The desserts are good and you also get free beverages. It's a great way to get some relaxing down time after walking around the park all day, too. I find it worth it every time.
