WOC Dessert Party question

G'day everyone, I have a just a quick question about the WOC dessert party if I may,

Does it run during March? I know reservations open 60 days out, but checking the Disneyland booking page for WOC dessert party, it only goes till 20th Feb 2017, it has been that date for well over a week now and hasn't changed.

We missed out on WOC on our last visit, due to the draining of the water and renovations there, so will be bummed if we miss out again.

The dessert party hasn't stopped running since they started it to my knowledge (well, they did cut it down to one showing a night). There have been instances where the party wasn't bookable 60 days out but it always opened eventually. Don't lose hope! Just keep checking.

Dearest party reservations only open up when the corresponding entertainment schedule is released for that date which right now it is only running about 30 days out vs the 60 days for other dining reservation.

Keep and eye on the entertiainment schedule for when to call for WOC Dessert Party.

Thanks Parkhopper1, I looked at the WOC dining reservations last night, to see what date it was at, thought maybe a glitch in the system, it has it at the same February date as the dessert party, but other restaurants are at 60 days reservations. That had me worried again, but your comment has eased my mind heaps.

Can I book the dessert party online? Your comment says "when to call dessert party"

Yes you can book it online. You also have to pay for it when you book it.

Well, I had sent off an email to Disney when I posted here as well, they got back to me today, this is the response

"Thank you for your email to the Disneyland® Resort.

Our World of Color will be under refurbishment beginning February 21st
and will return March 6th"

We will still get to see it, so that is great news, as we get to Disney on the 9th March.

when i read "... under refurbishment..." my heart skipped a beat! then i saw "... will return March 6th" and was happy as we won't arrive until the summer.

I must admit, my heart skipped too, when I when I read "under refurbishment" I thought seriously not again....lol then I read the rest of it.

But we will be right, we won't miss it this time...fingers crossed there are no delays. we have never seen it, same with the rail road, it was closed last time and will be closed this visit too, we are just not meant to ride the Disney rail road...lol

You had me scared there. We just decided to do the dessert party & then I saw "under refurb"
Luckily we will be there end of March. Whew
