WLV's Studio Wait List for Dec 23,25,26,27?

What are my chances for these 4 nights? I put our family on the wait list this past Friday. Good news is that we have booked the nights of 12/22 and 12/24. I think our chances are pretty good, given that we are this far out - still more than 6 months left and I think there are a fair amount of studios in the Villa's at WL. This will test my patience of which I am not too good at. Please spread some pixie dust my way. I know Christmas is high demand; however, I am thinking that Friday night, the 28th ---- the weekend of the
29th into New Years is even higher demand. Therefore, I am holding out hope for the nights of the 23rd, 25th, 26th and 27th. Do you agree that I have a pretty good shot at it? Thanks and Go Vols!

Here's the bad news: VWL is the smallest DVC resort, so you have fewer rooms available and the chances of fewer cancellations. Plus you don't know how far down the wait list you are. Make something as a back up in case these don't come through. Your chances might have been better exactly at 7 months out rather than 6 months out.

It's only going to get worse as more points are sold at AKV.
