WL View Question

When I made my ressie for the WL, I asked for a Courtyard View; however, I would like to be a little more specific because I want a nice view. Can someone give me a good area to ask for? I don't particularly want a balcony that is enclosed that I've read about, and I'd like to be able to see the fireworks from my room although I don't know that we will be in our room by then. So I guess a nice pool view would be just as good. Thanks for the input.

Have you posted this question on the WL thread? I think you'll want an inner Courtyard View. You won't be able to see the fireworks from here though. You WILL be able to see the pool and a bit of Bay Lake. BTW, good choice of resort!

From what I've read on these boards, I think the rooms you can see the fireworks from are the "woods view" on the north side, but I could be wrong. I made my reservations yesterday and specifically requested an "inner courtyard" view so I would be looking a the main courtyard and not the pool between the lodge and the villas. I also specifically told them I didn't want a bricked-in balcony. Of course, none of that actually shows up on the reservation, it just shows "courtyard view." Guess I'll find out in a couple of months
