WL transportation???

Want to change our plans to include Wl instead of CBR this summer. Since it will be so hot/humid we will be going back to the resort mid-day and returning to the parks late afternoon or so. Is the transportation at WL efficient enough for us to do this without losing a lot of time, better spent in the parks? I keep hearing how awful the bus service is there that I hesitate to change my ressies. How has this worked for those of you that stay at WL?? TIA.

If I recall correctly, those staying at the WL most recently have reported that transportation has been fine for them. I really wouldn't worry about it. During the mid-day, busses run approx every 15 minutes... And with Flex Dispatch, there really won't be any issues with that.

We stayed at the WL the middle of December and we had no problems with the buses at all, service was great. The only time we had a long wait (about a 1/2 hour) was leaving the MK after the second Spectro Magic, we opted to wait for the boat, when we should have taken the resort monorail to the TTC and then the bus back to WL. The bad part about that was that I had read on this board not to take the ferry after the MK closed, but I did not think it would be that long. Oh well lesson learned for next time.
Other than waiting for the ferry that one time, the transportation was great. We had rented a car and never used it for WDW.

We were there for Christmas/NY's Eve and the transportation was excellent. We took midday breaks almost every day when the parks started getting crowded. We had little or no wait times for the busses and it was very convenient using the boats from the MK during the day. I had read the reports about the WL too, but we were there for 2 weeks and never experienced a problem.
