WL to MK Boat?

Someone recently posted on this board that they just returned from the WL and the MK boat from the WL stopped at FW. When I stayed at the WL earlier this year, the MK boat was only used by the WL. Could someone just back from the WL let me know what their experience was with the MK boat? Thank you.

You were informed wrongly...unless on the extremely rare occasion that both the WL and FWC were stops during a MK closing.

The WL is serviced by a red flag boat to/from the MK on a dedicated route.

but, and this was a few years ago, I remember stopping at FW at least a few times on our trip.

They have changed to having dedicated boats within the last year.

The actual date of the route changes was 11/18/2007.

Can you still take a boat from WL to FW? I know you can walk to the campground, but the kids (and I ) would rather enjoy a boat ride than walk.
