I would lean towards the WL room over the studio. It will have two queen-sized beds rather than a queen and a double pullout sofa. No fighting over the "real" bed.
DVC studios to me are ideal for couples but not for four people, be they families or all adults. The sofa is great when its just two people, but when you have to rearrange furniture to get the sofa bed made out, it gets old quick. And I have stayed at my fair share of studios and those sofa beds are not that comfy. I never cared when it was for my kids lol, but as an adult I would not want to sleep on one if at all possible.
They aren't smaller, but you get one bed and one sofa bed (that is a double not a queen), vs the two queen beds in a regular room.
A studio does have a mini kitchen with a microwave, sink and refrigerator that is bigger than the frig in the regular room (but nowhere near full sized).
So if you are only using the room to sleep, go with two real beds. But if you have four adults, you will pay an extra $50 a night to add two more adults to the room (rates are based on two adults).
