WL Flag Family Of The Day pics added! - Birthday Magic and Disney Diva Hair.

I love the fans! I do the same thing!! I actually have been picking stuff up since we got home from our trip and already have so many things for their "airplane bags"! I just picked up these little Toy Story disposable cameras for them to take some of their own pics - $3.00 each at Marshalls.

I don't know if you are interested but a few of us are training to run the 5K - we are planning a trip for next October to run the 5K and do the Wine and Food and Halloween Party!! Can you join!!?? I know that Wayne and I would have so much fun with you and Jason in Epcot! :goodvibes

:cool1: I am so excited that he loved barnstormer. I hope Grace will too. Wait they are taking it down so she will NEVER get to ride it. boo hoo........... I will just put her on Big Thunder Mountain to test her out with roller coasters. I think we will have to try out the poly too.

YAY :cool1: I know what you mean about full planning mode!! I just bought some swimsuits and a few extra fun things for our December trip!! I got a 40% off code in my email, but one of my friends got Free Dining! I hope you get one too!! I would love to stay at the Poly one day :goodvibes We are thinking during our May trip!

I love those fans...what a great buy!! Did you book your trip yet?? If so, what are your final dates?

I actually did get a free dining PIN:banana: but I'm not sure if I'll be able to convince DH. It is silly since we are DVC and pay nothing if we stay at one of those resorts. I am so not complaining. I just want to stay at the Poly one day. We'll see.

Our trip is set for Dec. We are going 12/2 - 12/7 and staying at AKV. That really is our fav resort but Beach Club comes in at a close second.

Missed the last update when I had the flu

I LOVE Aubrey's shorts!!! And your Jason's shirt. WHERE did he get that???

So Jealous of your December trip. Someday :cloud9:

The flu?!?! I'm so sorry. I hope you are feeling better:goodvibes I got Aubrey's shorts at Children's Place to go with that shrit. I love them too. We got Jason's shirt in Epcot. They have them all over the place there. It still cracks me up!

I am really starting to get excited about December but I want to enjoy summer too! Every time I start wishing it was closer to our trip, I realize that that would mean summer is over and the Christmas craziness has begun. I'm not ready for that just yet:rotfl: We are going to the beach (Destin, Fl) in June so I am currently counting down the days to that.:beach:

Where did you find the fans? Those are awesome!

CVS! Very random!

I always get so much stuff for the airplane bags and Jason has no idea. It's just as fun to see his reaction to the stuff on the plane as the kids:lmao: He always tells me I go overboard until he realizes that the kids are entertained. Yes, don't question me:cool2:

Ok, I read about that 5K. We may just have to have to plan a trip for then. How much fun would that be?!?! But I may have to stay on the sidelines and watch you run. Are you running or walking? Jason loves to run. Maybe he can do it. I'm more of a cheerleading, drinking wine on the sidelines kind of girl:rolleyes1

Who knows when Barnstormer is coming down. Clients are asking me all the time when the renovations are starting and I can never get a straight answer from any CM. If anybody knows more than me, please share!! :)

Hello DisneyTiger, it is BamaDisney... I found your trip report this morning and in between church and laundry have read it all.:cheer2: I so enjoyed. We leave in a month and a week and cant wait. My DDs are now 11 and 15 but it makes me sad that we have never done BBB in all our visits. I wish we could go back in time. Enjoy these days while they are young, time passes so quickly.

So I have never done the t shirts and I am thinking after looking at yours that I may try my hand at it. I would love:lovestruc some Bama Mickey head design. So tell me how you came up with the designs. I know I read that you had help with someone on this site. I would love any advice on the how to make them. Thanks so much and I cant wait to read the rest of your report...and oh yea, ROLL TIDE!

Don't ya just love being able to PLAN for a DISNEY trip???

Mine's too far out right now to plan much of anything, but I did find some Disney T-Shirts at Walmart for DS for just $1.00 each. I got him a Cars shirt and a Toy Story shirt. They are big on him now, but I have them hanging in the closet hoping they'll fit by next June. pirate:

Well I'm all caught up once again, LOL. I love the pictures you took of your kids outside MK. They are wonderful! I really want to eat at Ohana for breakfast on our next trip. Everything sounds wonderful!

I just spent most of my day reading your whole trip report. It is fantastic. I love looking at all the special times you are having with your little ones. I remember mine at that age taking them to DL and DW, and now they are 21 and 15.

It is amazing how time flies so quickly :confused3 But at least my kids still love to go to Disney. :cool1:

Looking forward to reading about the rest of your days there. And enjoy early December. That is my favorite time to go.

Hi DisneyTiger!

I've been lurking on your trip report thread and thought I would chime in and say "hi". My folks and I will also be in WDW in December of this year! From December 2 - 11 staying at the Boardwalk Inn club level. :)

I have been enjoyed your report and pictures so far! Very cute family! Are you guys thinking of doing MVMCP this year? Have you ever done it before?

Hey T!
So there are about 5 girls I think running from my trip report. Or I should say we are all starting the training and plan to run!! We have over a year and the C25K program says they teach you from being a couch potato to running a 5 k in 9 weeks.... I think it is going to take me the full year but how cool to say I ran one. And TRUST me, there is going to be LOT's of wine to be had on this trip. Hey it is the F&W fest after all!! I hope you do it or at least go during that time... It would be soooo cool to have some drinks in Epcot with you!!! Wayne is going to run the 1/2 marathon! Maybe if Jason is a runner he may want to do that with Wayne!?

I had seen it!! I think its awesome!!:thumbsup2 My kids would love it!!:goodvibes

It really is awesome. How do they do that?!?:confused3

I am so glad you've enjoyed my report! So sorry that there haven't been many updates lately:rolleyes1 More to come!!! You know, your kids really aren't too old to do BBB. I actually saw a few moms in there getting their hair done! You're NEVER too old!

I'm glad you were able to find some Tshirt designs because it was going to be very hard for me to search for anything Bama - GEAUX TIGERS!!! Ok, sorry. You know I couldn't resist a little SEC jab:lovestruc Seriously though, let me know if you need any more tips. I have made MANY tshirts for different trips. I'm a self proclaimed expert - but couldn't do it without the DISigners!!!

Dontcha just love the DIS - bringing arch rivals together every day:laughing: (geaux tigers)

Haha! I have done that so many times with shirts - buying them big for our next trip! You think like me! And $1?!? That's awesome! Great find!

We love Ohana. On our next trip, we plan on doing dinner there. Never done it and heard it's delish! The breakfast is good and fun. Plus it's at the Poly so you can't lose! Love that place!!!

Wow, that's great that your kids still love Disney. I hope my kids are like that, though I don't think they have a fighting chance if they're not:rotfl: We had many special times on this trip and I am so grateful for that. I am super excited about December at Disney. It is the best time to go. Can't wait to take my kids to MVMCP!!

Hi! Cool about being there at the same time! We've stayed at Beach Club and LOVED staying in that area:love: It's so convenient! I have done MVMCP once before before we had kids. I liked it but didn't appreciate it at the time. I think it will be much more magical watching it through the kids eyes. I bought our tickets recently and we are going on 12/7. I do recommend it. It's lots of fun!!!

So glad you're reading along!!!

So I'm thinking I've pretty much decided that we are going to go. I have to talk to Jason about him running. Can you send me some info on the couch thing? I need to get myself in gear! I really hope it works out so we can finally meet and have a drink together:thumbsup2 Are the boys going with y'all?

Loving your TR!:)

Thanks! More to come!!

You must try it with your DD on your next trip. I just can't say enough about it. We will be doing it again, and again, and again I'm sure:)

Alright people, hold onto your britches... IT'S TIME FOR AN UPDATE!!!!! I have been so busy lately. Summer is in full force down here and we're enjoying every second of it. Our neighborhood pool opened this past weekend and we have been spending every waking second there. Aubrey actually learned how to swim today:cool1: And I mean REALLY swim! She went from not putting her face in the water and wearing a swim vest to jumping off of the side of the pool and swimming to the other side in all of about 30 minutes. Seriously! It's been great but extremely tiring. I seem to pass out way too early these days which means no updates from me :( But not tonight. I am determined to share some more of our wonderful trip with you. Thanks for your patience!

Oh, another side note. We are officially 29 days away from our beach trip this summer. We'll be spending 7 glorious nights in Destin, Fl at the Baytowne Wharf. I just cannot wait!!! Here is a picture of the kids playing on the beach from last year.

Look how blue that water is!!!!! Here's hoping it stays that way, stupid BP.

Anywho, when I last left you, we had just thoroughly traumatized Aubrey on The Barnstormer. The weather was not looking good so we decided to duck into the judge's tent to see the princesses. We waited in this line last time and it didnt' take long at all even though the wait said 30 minutes, it only took about 10 if that long. As we were standing there in line, I heard the rain start. Part of the room in the line for the princesses is metal and the rain hitting it sounded SO loud!!! It was POURING and our strollers were outside getting soaked:scared1: Wanna know why they were getting soaked? Because we had left our stroller covers back in the room thinking surely we would not need them. Yeah, good times. So, I tried not to worry about the weather as we walked into the room with all the girls. The photo pass people did a great job getting some cute shots. And here they are...

As you can see, Brendan is nowhere to be found. He's only 3 and already has decided that he wants nothing to do with princesses. He and dad were wandering around the store killing time until we were done. Also note that I had been carrying around our pillow cases and having each character carefully sign them. They were coming out so cute. I just could not have been happier. When we handed it to Belle to sign, she politely pointed out that she had already signed it. She said "don't you remember, I already signed your pillowcase?" I was so embarassed but so grateful that she caught that. Those girls are good!

After we were done with all of that, Aubrey and I headed out into a now very crowded store to find dad and Brendan. Everyone had ducked inside to escape the monsoon that was going on outside. What a place to get trapped. The kids were going crazy and wanted to buy everything in sight. We HAD to get out of there. If only we had our handy stroller covers to put over the kids. More specifically, over Aubrey's diva hair, then we would be fine. We stood at the door contemplating what to do. We came up with a plan to just haul it over to the train station and get a ride back to the front of the park. At least it would be under cover. We got some plastic bags from the store and lined the stroller seats with them since they were soaked. I put the autographed pillowcases in the back MESH carrying bags on the back of the strollers and off we went. We ran as fast as we could through the pouring rain and finally made it to the train station. There was a pretty long line which I expected. I'm surewe weren't the only ones with this brilliant idea. As we approached, a very scary looking woman (or man, honestly I'm really not sure what he or she was) yelled at the top of her lungs "The train's closed. Turn around!" I totally thought she/he was kidding so we just kept walking towards her (she was at the end of the line so we needed to get behind her). Well, aparantly she/he was right. They close the train when it rains:scared1::confused3:scared1: WHAAAAAT? You mean we have to run back to the gift shop and get even more soaked than we are now??? Um, ok. So off we went back to the shop. It was getting kind of comical at this point. I mean, it's just water but the kids were getting a little freaked out. The only option that I saw was to buy ponchos and walk back to the front of the park. Yes, back at the room along with those handy stroller covers were brand new LSU ponchos that I had brought from home. Jason did not see the point in spending more $$ on new ponchos. Well, I quickly made my point when I said we are buying them and that's that. So we did and we all put on our new purchase and headed out into the crazy wet Magic Kingdom. It was insane. At one point, I peeked through my plastic hood and almost ran smack into a very large woman wearing, get this, a spaghetti strap WHITE tank top. Really? This is what you choose to wear. And how I'm about to run face first into it. It was not pleasant. After doing what felt like the breast stroke down Main Street, we made it to the boat. We sat outside since we were already soaked. There was a cover so it wasn't that bad. By this time we were all laughing about it and it ended up being kind of fun. Got to find the good in everything right? I know I have pictures of us on the boat but I think they're on my phone. I remember I didn't want to take out my camera in the rain. I'll have to try and upload that later.

So we get back up to the room, drenched down to our undies. Everyone changed their clothes and snuggled down in the bed to rest and watch a movie. It was still pouring outside so it was the perfect weather for this. Jason and I popped a bottle of our wine and sat on the balcony enjoying the rain. Just then, I realized the pillowcases. I needed to check on them and see how they faired the storm. Well, let's just say that permament marker must not mean permanent when it comes to RAIN. Both of them ran terribly. I was devastated. All of our hard work ruined. I just couldn't bring myself to take a picture of them but I'm ok with it now. I'll take one and post it tomorrow. I wish I had a before pic to compare it to but you'll definitely get the point. Uhhhhh, what a day!
