Just got back from our honeymoon, the last few days spent at WL courtyard view. It was unbelieveable! The lodge is gorgeous!!!! The pool was unbelievable.....ducks were actually swimming in it!! The views were breath taking!! Had a Bay Lake/pool view on the 6th floor, 6129. I did not like the room itself, we were right next to s service elevator. We heard noise all day long, then it would start again around 6 am. The balcony view was beautiful, but I would have prefered one that I could see through. We will back next year...spring and our anniversary!!!!

Congratulations on your wedding! WL is a terrific place for a honeymoon.

Help!! DH & I celebrting our 25th and staying at the WL 12/18 to 12/25/05. Can anyone recommend a Lake/Bay view room that would possibly Romantic :lovestruc and dquiet with a good view. Our first trip w/o Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, etc. We have aCourt yard view room res. and would be open to paying a little extra for some amenities. ::MinnieMo

The WL is such a beautiful resort to spend an anniversary or honeymoon. I would recommend a room a few doors down...6125 or 6127. They have good views, but not sure if they have a king bed or not. I saw a wedding there and ran into 3 couples also on their honeymoon!!! It is sooo perfect for romance. Also, if you get a chance go on a bike ride, it was such a beautiful trail.

Congratulations on your wedding. :goodvibes This old 15 years of marital bliss couple :lovestruc and their two DD's will be staying at WL for the first time after Thanksgiving. Can't wait. :cheer2:

WL must be the place for anniversaries :love2:

We will be at the WL for our 21st anniversary next June/July 2006.
We also are paying for a courtyard view - hoping for a nice room.

Happy Anniversary to all :cool1:

Another WL anniversary--we will be there 11/30-12/4 for our 7th!!!

:sunny: We were there last year for our 25th, it was so nice. I love the WL, it is my fav. resort. Happy Anniversary to everyone! Have fun!

WL is our favorite resort as well. When we were there in May, we had a courtyard view and got room 4032, right in the middle of the "bear's face" part of the interior courtyard. It was amazing! Close to the elevators without being too close to hear noise, not over WCC, it was perfect! We're staying at the VWL in Dec. and I can't wait to be back there again! Have a wonderful trip!

On fifth floor room 5143, courtyard view. fabulous room, great view and very quiet. Love the WL, it is truly a special place to celebrate any special occasion. :cool1:

Congrats on your wedding. We also just returned(9/26-10/04) and saw several newlywed couples-AWWH :love2:. I think it is a great honeymoon place. We stayed in 6119 courtyard view. We originally had 2169-way to far for me with a 2 year old and after I walked it twice I requested a new room closer to the lobby or an elevator. They were very nice and switched us with no problem. On our last day my DD15 and I were the flag family. Unfortunately it was raining and expecting showers of and on all day, so they do not put the flag up. But Jason, our ranger said he would take us up anyways for the view since it was just the 2 of us. You have to go to the 7th floor to get to the stairway that leads to the roof. And what a view it was. Totally awesome and breathtaking. You can see everything and Expedition Everest looks monstorous :earseek:.
I would definitely stay there again.
Happy mooning(honeymooning, that is) :)

WOW, it is so nice to know that wedded bliss (most of the time) is alive and well @ WL. Thanks everyone, you guys are super :goodvibes . "NH POOH", we live in NH as well, as a matter of fact about 3 mi. from you, in Merrimack...SMALL WORLD :rotfl: isn't it. Nice to know that we old folks really enjoy :cheer2: WDW. My DH has always wanted to stay at the WL (I stayed there in Jan., 1 night with my Sis on our Annual WDW trip). I loved it!!! It does look alot like home & our back yard. We visit Disneyland, at least once a yr. (family is all there) and we have never been able to stay @ the Grand Calif. resort ($$$) and can't wait to experience the orig. WL. Thanks guys for all your help. "61 days to our WDW/ :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :bounce: :lovestruc WL Trip"
