Greetings all.

Leaving on August 16, first trip back in years. I've never requested a room before - hell, I never knew you could until I started coming to these boards.

My question(s): Is it worth doing a room request - do you do them? And I've got a courtyard view at the WL - If I fax my request, what suggestions do you have as to what to include - a room number, floor, etc.

Any help appreciated.

Michael

Welcome!

We're staying at Courtyard/WL, too.

You should ask your ??'s on the resort brd. Try searching, if it ever works, as there is tons of info abt WL.

We had a courtyard view at the WL last year. I faxed my request in 5 days before our arrival date.
I requested the 4th or 5th floor over looking the main pool in the north wing. (this is the wing that Roaring Forks the food court is in)
I got exactly what I wanted, I was really very happy. They say that requesting a room number makes it too hard to accomodate you, but definately request the floor you want at the WL. This is because the 6th floor have some balconies that have railings that you can not see through if you sit down, you have to stand up to look over the balcony.
The WL is a beautiful resort you will love staying there.

Be sure to request an upper floor such as 4 or 5, this cuts down on some of the pool noise and gets you above the trees.

Be sure to ask for King / queens / queen plus bunks if the beds are important.

Ask to be near the elevator if that is important to you or for bunk beds.
