Any inforamtion would be helpful. Was it worth it? What view do the rooms have? How was the food? Was it restocked when it started to run low or will we miss out on the snacks if we don't get back right at 3:00pm? Is there soda available? Can we take water bottles with us to the park?:earsboy:

Room views will vary. Some will look at the inner courtyard. Some will face the villas next door and some will face the direction of the MK.

Food was good. A continental breakfast in the morning-cereal, muffins, cut up fruit, juice, etc.
The 3:00 snacks were cookies, etc. and tea/lemonade while we were there. The 5:00 offerings were usually very good.

Yes, there is soda available. They did not have bottled water when we were there but that may have changed.

We are preparing for another stay at WL Concierge in May and I will let you know how it is.

I think concierge service is worth the money. We spent a good amount of money in Roaring Forks on our last trip-well beyond what we spent there when we stayed concierge.

We are also planning to go in May. You are right about the money spent in Roaring Forks. We have stayed @ WL 3 other times. I like the idea of getting breakfast without haveing to go to Roaring Forks. We have 6 kids!!!!j

When are you going in May?

We are checking in on May 21.

Even though Roaring Forks isn't expensive, we still spent WAY more than we did on our last trip. We still went to RF a few times when we stayed concierge.

That atmosphere at WL Concierge is very cozy and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

I just saw that you have 6 kids. Definately go with concierge. I think that you will find it is more than worth it.

Just wanted to let you know that I heard from my itinerary planner that both the Wilderness Lodge concierge and Poly concierge now no longer offer bottled water. (They have the water available if you want to fill up a cup or your own bottle, but don't do bottled water for you to take with you somewhere.)

Just an FYI...

(We are going in a few weeks, I'll let you know how it was! :) )

In May we upgraded to WL Concierge at check in for $55/night. We loved it. It was well worth the money.

We are going back in Dec (6th - 13th) and booked Concierge at essentially an extra $100/night cost as compared to a standard room.

In May, the afternoon snacks were nothing to write home about. I certainly wouldn't rush back for that. However breakfast was good and the dinner time snacks were great. Every night was a different item.

Maybe we will see you around. We are there 3rd-9th, concierge also. Can't wait. :wave2: We also did it mainly for the food offerings. With 2 kids, having snacks throughout the day will help alot. :happy1:

We also have two kids (5 and 2) and the breakfast makes for a very relaxing start to the day.

Whoever gets up first takes a shower and then heads to the breakfast buffet and brings back food for the entire crew. This way you don't have to rush the kids to ready.

I was disappointed to hear that they won't be giving out bottles of water. We always took two to the parks with us.

Honestly, personally, I'm not a fan of it. The wilderness lodge just wasn't designed with it in mind. The wilderness lodge doesn't have a lounge for it like the polly does in the hawaii building, for example. It is just spread out there around the balcony on the seventh floor. It takes away from the lobby of the lodge. First, one of the best things to do in the lobby was to the seven floor walkdown - every floor had something different in the stairs down to the next. The key card in the elavator destroys that. It takes away from the sight lines of the lobby just to have it out there. Now, don't get me wrong. I really don't begrudge anyone the convenience or niceness of having their breakfast right there or whatever. But it totally destroys the honeymoon rooms. Those rooms used to be special. What made them special was that they were the only thing there around the lobby on the 7th floor. They were remote and separate feeling and unique and special. Now there is seating right outside the doors. I'm glad for people to have easy and convenient breakfast - that's great - but goodness, it just seems terrible for some couple to be in the honey moon room while families are gathering their breakfasts outside. I'm sad that young couples today can't enjoy the specialness of those rooms, or that people visiting the lodge for the first time can't look up around the lobby and take it all in without that "conceirge" set up.
