Good Morning TEAM:
I'm waking up and fueling up for my LR this morning. We had a great day with the princesses, DD6

and DD9

, at Darien Lake Theme Park yesterday. It was a beautiful day to be at the park, and DD9

rode every roller coaster that was open

. She rode the Viper, Mind Eraser (2x), Predator, and the kiddie coaster with DD6

. We had a great time, and it was so much fun to ride roller coasters with her. She rode coaster that flipped you, inverted you, and shook you, and she wanted more. It was a blast. They had a really, really cool Cirque show that opened yesterday too. That alone was worth the price of admission.
OK, now to finally catch up with my teammates.
Carrie- Great job on keeping your training going. No, the princesses aren't running at all right now, but I'm hoping they'll start up again for the x-country series that is here in August. We'll see, I'm not going to push them at all. Thanks for asking about the homelife... everything's been GREAT here since I've been back. It's great to be home, and I think maybe we needed a little separation from each other for a week. It's made us all appreciate each other a lot more, and we've been having a great time together. Sorry, if I made things sound not so great. It was probably just because I haven't had much time to write or catch up with the thread.
Howard- Hope you had a great birthday!!!
Shan- I definitely used a swim noodle to hold me up in the pool when I forgot my life jacket. I know
Steve has an aqua jogger belt (I think you can get one at aquajogger.com - or something like that), but I just use a kayaking life vest to hold me up in the pool. Works great, and I still do an aqua jog 1x/week as cross training. Yes, you are supposed to try to mimic all the exact same running motions you use on land in the water. It takes a little bit to get used to, but then it goes pretty well. Good luck with your foot.
Christa- Uuugh, so sorry to hear about your IBS trouble on your LR. I have soooo much sympathy for you. Good for you for continuing to run with this trouble. Whoa, 1st 3 miles in 7:25?!?

Wow, that's my speedwork! You go girl! Good for you for making it through the run, and you may not be proud - but we are! Hope you're not getting sick.
Leana- Wow, you are busy... 5 mile run, and a 9 mile run + 3 hours of Yoga today. That's awesome! WTG!
Colleen- I LOVE the new iPOD!!! It is awesome! Nice job on starting your MCM training. Wow, 8x 400 repeats - you really start with a bang don't you. I can't wait to hear more about how your training goes. I think about
Sunny and
Melissa too.
Karen- At least you got a little running in before the storm hit.
Stephanie- I'm always sooooo impressed with your speedwork. WTG!
Hi
Jen- Just wanted to WISH you well with all your stress you've had lately. Have fun camping. Sounds like you need to get away.
Cam- Wow, that sounds like an incredibly tough 5K. Good for you for sticking it out in less than ideal conditions and finishing. You've come such a long way. Wow, Kenny Chesney was just here at Darien Lake on Thursday. He must have gone from us to you and
Judy. I was thinking of you two.
Kim- Great job on the 4k, and for working (I certainly wasn't).
Sunny- I'm so glad to hear from you. I've been very worried about you. Uuugh, I'm so sorry to hear about the depression, spinal cord stimulation, and then Paul deciding to leave you. I'm so, so sorry. Please know you're not alone in this ordeal, and we are all here for you to listen to you and do whatever we can. Hang in there
Sunny!!! WTG on continuing to run since that brings you pleasure.
You are definitely a marathoner!!!
