You're confusing me with someone intelligent. Remember in January when you asked what I'd do in tomorrow's marathon and I said, "in spite of the killer heat and humidity I'll go out fast, blow up, and DNF." Well I got 2 out of the 3 right. Blowing up at mile 11 by the Teacups isn't a sign of intelligence. The sad part was once I recovered a bit and began to move again a little voice inside told me "you're toast and you have 15 miles to go, IDIOT." If the weather is the same on January 13, 2008, please remind me to run smarter.
I suspect I am a bit worn down. I've hit one of those stages where every run is a good one, long and easy, short and quick, it doesn't matter, all have been successful. On the rare occasions I'm getting consistent good results I push it harder, knowing I'm taking a risk, but I just cannot resist. My goal for this year was 10 by labor day, and I made that with 5 weeks to spare. I've always told you to build slow and not stress your body, but I appear to be incapable of taking my own advice. Do as I say, not as I do.
Yes, you are 2 hours ahead. The mile will probably come off at 7:30:00 tomorrow evening Boulder time. If it does, I hope to be done roughly at 7:37:12. But if my legs are still heavy that isn't going to happen.
My evening class is good, the students are a nice bunch, and 2 of the 19 are pretty extraordinary. I've found all evening MBA students are similar, bright and hard working, but since they are juggling work, family, whatever else, and school, they're not always as on top of things as I'd like. I know my buddy Howard can relate to juggling too many other things as well as class. I'm done in 2 weeks and am driving straight home. Apparently I am needed there.

Thanks for pointing out is wasn't my child who knocked down the telephone pole. I had forgotten about that incident when she was learning to drive and missed the pole on the hill by a millimeter. That's all we need, another claim on our auto insurance. By the way, how did you manage to get the garage door up??
Gotta love 22 year olds now. Manually lift a garage door? Never seen it, never done it, no idea. Dial a rotary phone? Are you kidding me? Adjust the antannae so you get better reception? That's so 1960's.

Yes, I'm sure Vic's electrician would be glad to drive up from Florida and solve our problem. Parts, labor, travel time, travel expense, plus a big profit on top of all of that. By the end we'd be better off giving him the house.

Do you and Krista have your reservation booked for January? If you're not there I'll be very disappointed.
