Good morning all! Hope everyone's week is going well. I just spilled my coffee on my keyboard, so part of it is sticky and I'm trying to avoid using a few letters that are really sticky, so if I misspell somthing, it's on purpose.
Kim and Laurie--ok, I'm glad I'm not the only one who was confused. When you guys first started posting quite a bit, I actually thought it was the same person and I was a little concerned that I was losing my mind (ok, no comments from Krista here!).
Erica--wow, nice job on the miles so far this week! Is that a typical training week for you? I'm impressed!
Dave--WTG on the good run. Isn't it great when a really good run can change the tone of your whole day?
Stephanie--that's a great quote. I'm always a sucker for inspirational running quotes.
blueroses--11 miles!

Wow, you're not kidding around, are you? Nice job! Funny the things you find out about hydration, etc, during a long run, huh? The even funnier part is if you try to bring up that topic in a conversation with a non-running friend. Amazingly, they don't seem to care near as much as they should.
Kim--that's a good question about the 15K training program. I have no answers, but you've inspired me to do a google search and see what comes up. Maybe someone else here will have a good training plan, since so many did Minnie last year.
Yeah, the medals on Ebay are crazy. I actually saw someone selling their Donald, Mickey and Goofy medal last year in one set. Their comments said they were selling them to offset the price of the races.

Wow, I couldn't bring myself to do that. Even with the shadowboxes that you can buy that come with their own set of medals--it just wouldn't mean as much to me. Krista and I plan to make a shadowbox for our medals, but we're going to put the ACTUAL medals that were placed around our necks in there.
I'm with you, Bill. If the house was on fire, the medals would be one of the first things to grab (Krista, that IS after you and I were out safely, sweetie! But if you're dilly-dallying around on the way out of the house, it's the medals first and you're on your own.

)
Training's going well. I have 4 miles to do tonight. I'm trying to get in at least 2 or 3 cross-training sessions a week to work on biking and swimming, and that seems to be working so far.
Have a great Thursday, everyone!
Steve
