A little behind here...
Krista & Steve - Congratulations on hearing the heartbeat! And great that you're getting some energy back. Now if only Hines can build his back up... Mystic did 5 miles with us last weekend and wondered what in the world had happened?
Cam & Howard - Congrats to both of you on your talented offspring! And kudos for the polar bear plunge.
Debra - Hope you're feeling better.
Chris - Read your article on the other thread - it's terrific and truly inspiring!
Maura - Great job on the 3 miles! I've been at this for 2 years and still can't do that except for on the TM.
Renee - Are you doing the Raleigh Rocks on 4/5? I was hoping for Morehead City on 3/8, but since I blew off my LR last weekend, I'm now thinking maybe I should skip that one and just plan on Raleigh.
Kevin - Welcome back! (We seem to say that to you an awful lot - how about hanging around for a while?)
Jeff - I thought my Garmin was confused when it said 13.26 for the half - I feel much better now. Apparently I ran the short course!
Judy - Sorry I didn't join you on the TM this morning - I knew it was going to be warm today so I could run outside.
Had an awesome run tonight. Did 4 miles in 45:46. That was my second fastest non-race pace EVER. Just felt like pushing a little harder than usual - probably since I felt bad about not running all weekend! It helps that we're having a week of absolutely gorgeous weather.

kudos for my DH, he bought me a Timex Ladies Ironman Triathalon watch as an early Valentine's Day gift. He thought now that I am walking/running that it might be useful.

Hard to feel sorry for warm climates in January, but flooding is never good.
Gotta love it!
Most years we get back to our towels and we either can't feel our lower legs and feet or they are numb. This year wasn't as bad as others have been.
Will it come with time? I just see everyone else's progress and I feel like the pokey little turtle.
I don't know how I remain upright. It's a medical mystery! Guess I really need core work. Yes indeed!
I wonder when we can start registering for volunteering.
aw:
Was Chad standing in that line with all the other kindergarten mothers?
