Matt – awesome pic!
Minnie – beautiful pictures! It is so nice to have you back, though!
Lisa - So great to see you here. I hope your knee just gets stronger and doesn’t give you any trouble as you start your Goofy training.
OMG, Melissa, what a horrible day you had. Here I was planning to congratulate you on the boy being ready for kindergarten, but then I read what he went through – that must have been scary for you. I am so glad Phil’s test results were good. I’ll continue to keep him in my prayers. So, I’m curious – how can you be so calm about a spider bite – AND you caught it and carried it somewhere???? You are now even beyond heroic stature with me, chickie! I almost passed out just reading about it.
TriMom –

So sorry your little one was sick. Here’s some

for him, poor thing!
Andrew – your “purty mouth” comment literally had me

OMG!!!! Your posts crack me up! Thank you for the laugh, friend!
Okay, Mike, you too! Behave yourself! It is kind of hard to explain my guffaws to the people outside my office!
Bill – Thank you for reminding Judy that she doesn’t want to “pull a Cam” during the Minnie. I will be a wreck worrying about her.

: Then again, I think she had such a great experience with all those cute EMTs after the Half, that she might be tempted to pull a little fainting spell.
Did you guys hear that when Judy had been on the stretcher for a while one of the EMTs said something like: “I think your color is a little better, but it is kind of hard to tell with that glowing
GREEN shirt! I almost fell over laughing (partly from relief of knowing she was okay, of course!)
Krista – Let me at her!!!! (Your mean co-worker, that is!) Keeping your sis in my prayers. I had that procedure done about 10 years ago. It was an arterial biopsy and I was diagnosed with temporal arteritis (a disease that usually only senior citizens get). I had to go through steroid treatments and get blood tests every 3 days to monitor my SED rate. But it was resolved after a few months. In the meantime, I also used a maintenance drug for the migraines and then “rescue” drugs for flare-ups. I hope everything goes smoothly for your sister.
Colleen – it is so nice to see you here. I’ve missed you!
Jen – good luck to Paul! Tell him his WISH team is behind him all the way!!
Dave – I am glad you are enjoying the taper. Kudos to the girls for those 2 miles! And I love the way you rewarded them. I just bought DSalmost14 a new Life Is Good shirt that has Jake running on the front and it is called “RUSH HOUR” – so fun!!
Angie – good job on great food choices at Outback. The food there is so awesome that you can order something relatively healthy and feel like you are splurging.
Christa – enjoy the new shoes! Yeah, some women want new Manolo Blahniks – we celebrate race treads!
Judy – so glad your TM workout produced no bad side effects, but I am thinking maybe the stress of heading in to work sent your BP through the ceiling.

Poor thing! And,

on the coyote!
Nancy – Enjoy the taper! You’ll do great at your race!
Still no workouts for me. Completely grounded per doctor until Thursday. The cough is better and I think the sinus infection has mostly resolved, but breathing is still no picnic. I still can’t believe I have bronchitis. Howard is sick now with a sinus infection and just overall feeling lousy, but fortunately he doesn’t have bronchitis. I am really dreading the heat and humidity of Florida, but hope to be ready by then to take on 9.3 miles. I figure it may be as bad as the ‘07 marathon, weather-wise, but it is only slightly more than 1/3 the distance, so not so late into the day at Finish. And, it is the first distance race that I have done before, so I am really excited to “enjoy” the course instead of dreading the unknown.
